    If they really changed elite to ultra it's damned bad. I had only one chance to try out an elite jazz bass at a local shop, it sounded really good, but the price was very high. After 2 years they put a 25% money low and someone bought it.

    Why did Fender did not want to make elite series basses no more? I think they where pretty cool.

    Any way. You can have as much strings as you wish (starting from more than 6), but you will always have a problem with new string buying !!!!

    Unicorn got it one look like - a horse with one horn, but the world universal can't be tied up with one. Also i allready said that i am sorry that i put that word instead of universal in the title of this discussion. Let's end this unicorn discussion and change it to universal in mind. That should work.

    As i explained before - at that moment i thought these words pretty the same. I was wrong, but still there are people calling the instruments - unicorn.
