Hello. Are You fully satisfied with Your #1 bass or there could be some changes. If yes - what would You change ? As to me - Ibanez GWB 1005, i would like it would have a mid eq control also.

I just don't understand why he wants usb interface - what for, if he will not going to use live monitoring and recording ?

If you want only to hear your live bass and prerecorded drums on your pc through headphone - you don't need usb and good pc. Just buy a 4 chanell mixer, connect with your bass, stereo input from pc output and plug your headphones. You will get your sound eq and all this will be analog way.

It is good to always write chords, tempo and style. Leave the notes for specific unisons.

You must somehow learn all the songs, but You can always keep them written down in front of You, espesioally if they are so much.

There is a one important thing also when using usb interface for monitoring and recording and good latency. You will definetely need a good pc -ssd drive, 16GB ram and normal speed procesor.

Audio usb interface - Focusrite - Scarlet 2i2, for the soft - hard to sujest. If You want free and good - Audacity.

Better to change for new ones, but there could always be some nuances with string height, so if You are not afraid to do some possible settings with Your bass, go for new. In recording and mixing fresh strings are important.

How can people be so foolish. All i want is to name a brand in quality that equals in cars (Aston Martin) and "BASS BRAND" to it. Is it so difficult ?

You deffently doesn't know latvian. What i ask is just a quality brand, meaning as a car to bass. You ask "Will i fyc( you?" Learn the languages pal, it it will easy your life.

I usually change strings after half a year, just the one and only D'addario 45-135. But if i feel sooner they are worn, i do it earlier. The recordings are serious stuff, so think seriasly to change for the new before rec.
