Try out to buy a big special bolt that covers half your back - it works by sticking together. It's like boxing champion belt, but bigger. It works fine for my 72 old dad. He had a gig with alder j and singing some songs and felt ok.

The reason i can't speak here much is that i never owned Rick, never played it, but have heard it live and rec. I think there are a lot of people who still likes the design and tone of Rick. and keep buying it, but of course there are a lot of dislikers and it is normal, other wise the name would not be so popular and the brand is still producing.

Ask Your 1#guy, to who You go, when problems with your instrument appers, if he does refinish (there are are a lot that doesn't) - he will recommend another guy who does it good. I had the same situation with my road word scrached jazz bass. He did his job perfectly, it cost me 200e. Decide yourself, is it cheep or too much. I am satisfied at 100%.

I don't need any more fretless, so fretted my Jaco and it's sounds perfect. As to fretless Ibanez GWB1005 is a 5 string fretless and all i can dream for.

Signature basses are not cheap absolutely not the popular ones. I have experience with 2. 1rst. - Fender Jaco artist jazz bass in which i was a little disapointed (finish and sound), but the 2nd. one is absolutely my dream bass which is not made in wholesale, but only on order. Ibanez GWB1005 hand made by Japan luthiers. And Gary Willis, which is his signature best model, plays exactly the same as You are able to order.

Yes, bass is great, but no matter you like the fretboard, before you open your acount, try to, try it out.

1 cab includind 2 is always biger and more weight, i prefer 2 cabs the same as 1 complete cab. You can always use one in small gigs and choice for need both in a biger gig.
