  5. You can play fretless the same as fretted bass, but if you play fretless with all what gives you, it's two different instruments.

  10. The only thing i can say to You is "talk You on fretless". Otherwise the best way is if You have at least one good fretted and fretless bass available. I like fretted 4 and fretless 5 type, about brand and model - You must decide yourself.

  22. About those top lists. The main important thing is who mades them. There could be 25 different lists made by "bass specialists" all around the world and all of them may differ at 99%. Finally we are here to have fun and each have it's 1#bassist, to enjoy listening and learning from, so no sense of those lists.
  23. No, reggae is not much popular in Latvia to play in bands, but loved to hear a lot. I have played some reggae covers and all were satisfied.
