After the above post on the Donnor Basement... this is now with the eldest and undergoing guitar use. I'm on the nice metal box of an EHX headphone amp... clean, simple and no gimmicks... or the Zoom B1 Four. Wireless would be great! but may end up costing more than the headphone amp or the zoom? And as you say lag may be an issue with playing versus just playback.

Nice... Black 'n Mapel... Pearly Blocks 'n Pearl Guard. Those black machine heads give the mapel a bit of lift and definition. black bridge would of been tooo much, and i likes a thumb rest. Jackson, owned by Fender... but this is very Ibanez pickups n electronics and neck nut width, and Court with the slight off set version of an Ibanez SR body and the nice modest headstock rather than going pointy. Some nice spec, carbon reinfirced thru neck, compound board - so Charvel Jackson... Nice suble colour, whats not to like for a modern?

Have a google... 'Acoustic Guitar, soldering iron, steaming, dent' If the wood fibers are compressed, you can steam em out - damp rag, and soldering iron or iron I had a dent in the fretboard, steamed it out a bit, not a fix but an improvement... Small area so i used a wet cotton bud on the dent, then applied the soldering iron tip to it... Keep wetting... keep steaming... keep looking

Depends on the Bass, Styling and Finish. Both of mine are black hardware on plain wood finish... But the Ibanez Cosmo Black, a sort of Smokey Silver, not quite gun metal, but rather than sparkly chrome is nice and a little understated. Gold will usually clash with the frets (so may look nice on a woody fretless) n strings...
