Headphone amps... the little plug in things arnt great... i found out... Fair few going down the Zoom Muliteffects with hesdphone out route...

Familiar and like the song.. (listening... not playing!)... Original / Remastered appears on a host of complilation albums. I found the alt version a pleadure to hear, add lib vocals, seperaton between instuments, a live in the studio vibe... sounded like they were having fun to me, possibly sounding a little rushed, but natural... Enjoyed that... will check out the album. As people are mentioning approach. i prefer a cover, not a copy. playing to be enjoyed with a bit of your own understanding - what the feel funk vibe and drive means to you - for all musicians...

Right then, Got the GSR200 back in April... Bass guitar for Dummies has been well thumbed... Gone through (some) of the Hal Leonard's The Bass Method Complete Edition... More read in isolation, rather than with bass in hand... Found some tabs of fav songs to try and mimic... 5 Months of noodling about, bit of finger strength and dexterity earnt... most arsing about is unplugged - ('lil Marshall sees the ocasional use, plug in headphone thing aint great, and wont fit the SR600 without digging out a lead and an effect pedal due to socket) and for an hour or so in the evening to escape the soaps on the gogglebox... Recent bit of GAS... SR600... Nice! So need something to up my learning... any recomendations to move me along? has got to be FREE... no dosh for subscriptions etc. Thanks in advance.

Check out the ibanez web site... great info on each model, neck dimensions etc. SR neck preety much all the same dimension within each range, Premier, Prestege, Standard... 5 piece neck, etc. woods vary but 38mm at nut, GSR slightly wider at the nut... 1 piece neck Got a GSR200 and a SR600 both necks are real nice...

Got an old Arion FX case, Tuner, Metal Dist, Chorus, Flanger - unfortunatly the delay has diven up!.. sounds nice on gtr and bass, but with the eldest and guitars... prefer a phaser on the bass, more organic, Flangers tend to sound more clocked and mechanical, i know they are a different effect, but have a similar feel...- so got cheapy Wholenote (chord) Chorus and a Phaser - Copies of the old Ibanez plastic bug style 'Sound Tank' range, so the Flanger may be worth a look... As for order, with the delay last you get more of the same... with the delay earlier in the chain, say before a flanger, phaser, chorus or any 'shifter' your repeats are subtly different... give it a try...

small prick :-)... needle 'n isopropyl alcohol... witch hazel etc... then rub some on ya fingers and leave to the air to harden... plasters just make things soggy...

can the pedal not be allocated to a control varable and used as volume, changing distortion level, chorus depth, phaser or flanger rate, delay time or repeats?

Worth the couple of quid extra for the 'x' with expression pedal?
