  1. Same here, my cutlass is the white with mint guard maple board, not sure I’d want a matching pair but I’ll see what comes up
  2. Also take a look at some of the musicman sub/Sterling range (not the USA Sterling.) they play and sound great with right strings and set up
  3. There’s the slippery slope, before you know it you’ll have 5 basses, pedals by the bucket load and a stack of cabs capable of playing live aid. welcome and enjoy the ride
  4. If I tried that they’d sound like used French hookers g strings… 😩
  5. Lovely looking bass Andy, love my stingray. I’m seriously thinking of picking up a Caprice to go with my cutlass, I still can’t put that bass down it’s phenomenal. I’m really into the musicman playability and tones.
  6. Yes, they’re great for drapes and other material dressing onstage and can be just pulled apart afterward
  7. Can’t beat some black tat and a Kimble gun for the best stage dressing 😂🤣
  8. Get 2 8ohm cabs you then have a smaller practice/rehearsal/coffee shop setup with one cab and for those glory balls to the wall gigs you can break out the stack and go medieval on their a.s.s Bag end cabs are old school heavy but they can take some power
  9. Any bass player with all his gear in any band…. 🤪
  10. Queue the second hand status market price jump…
  11. Well, a goodly while of TI jazz flats on the cutlass and well I have to say I like them. Are all flats equal, Who knows? I let rip on the stingray earlier with DR rounds and it was so sweet, like pixies with crystal tipped boots driving a Harley low rider through my ears. I’ve missed that sweet sweet tone… However the cutlass is so playable I snagged it out of the bag and damn what a joy that juicy thump was too, I’m still a little fast fingered on the flats especially with big jumps and slides but I think I may keep the flats on the cutlass they just sound so right with a passive P set up. Ok boys you win I’m a convert. P.S Rounds still rock though 🤘
  12. Picked up a mono vertigo from Kevin, exactly as described and an easy transaction thank you
  13. This team as in most cases like this, probably without knowledge of the person they are acting for but instructed by his management are of course going to pursue the case, why wouldn’t they it’s how they earn a living, probably a good one from high profile clients. As I said before I’ve no love or hate for EC he doesn’t do anything for me.
  14. Purchased a pedal board off Adam. Posted swiftly and came super fast thank you
  15. Apart from a few cream numbers and they were more for the bass and percussion I’ve always thought Clapton was way overrated I don’t think I own any of his material genuine or god forbid bootleg I am fairly sure though that Eric doesn’t scour the internet looking for bootlegs, someone in the management team has pushed this through and of course Eric gets the blame
  16. Agreed not always, but it’s a known and proven method of cleaning money buying overpriced ‘rare’ items or withdrawing funds from credit companies like PayPal that need an invoice to do so
  17. I’ll be honest I’ve been so busy I haven’t really had time to delve so apart from some compression and a few tweaks to stock that’s all I’ve been using and I’m still loving the Waza
  18. https://thelittleguitarshop.com/welcome.html more of a 6 string shop but I’ve seen some gems in there of the 4 string variety
  19. Probably Japanese prices (they do ramp them up) or a scam if it’s disappeared I’ve purchased a few 3leaf pedals this year one quite recently for the going market price
  20. Power amp with an SVP Pro preamp. Just to further expand on this, a decent lightweight power amp will allow you the freedom of trying out as many preamps as you want, be they rack mount or pedal units, usually at a saving on a full blown amp/preamp
  21. 😂🤣 I had the same when I first got mine, it was used but from what I can see they were slinky’s on it. I’m trying out some flats for the first time, TI jazz, they still growl and do sound good, I’ll give them a few more weeks but I think it just had that bite with rounds on
  22. I’ve not long had a cutlass and I love it. Great growl, great build quality and a pleasure to play.
  23. Reflects the current climate for many
