  1. I do love a maple fretboard, 🤔 maybe my next goal for stingray and sterling 🍻
  2. Just picked up a USA sterling, been after one for a lot of years, just never got round to it, couldn’t resist this one to go with my 2 band stingray. Like it just as it is but a set up to suit me will only improve it more. Ernie ball do make some great basses 😄
  3. Here’s mine, I’m not a great fan of opera music but this moves me this got me thinking about the Bollywood scene even though I don’t understand the language Not really bands but I don’t think there are many opera bands or Bollywood bands to be honest 🤣😂
  4. I’ve always said to people who knock genres of music or bands that there’s always one track you can find you’ll like. great idea for a topic 😄
  5. Please stop selling nice gear and basses I’ve got enough to last a lifetime 😲 that is all thank you cheers 🍻
  6. A trip to Sheffield this morning to pick up an Ernie Ball USA sterling from Peter. Bass was just as described and we had a good chat and he took me through the future impact, sounded great when he played through it, not so much when I tried 😂🤣 I’ll be looking into one though. Here’s my new baby with her bigger sibling 😄
  7. Didn’t fender do an international series? Never seen a headstock so II wouldn’t say this is one
  8. Next time do what hawkwind allegedly did on entrance to thier gigs and hand out LSD tabs to everyone entering 😂🤣
  9. Apologies, I wasn’t suggesting you went with the fearless or the eminence 12” I was linking the specs more for the mid and horn. it just sounded like you were building a similar cab 😄
  10. Sounds like your looking for something like the Greenboy fearless f112 which is a 900 watt frfr cab. apart from the neodymium Eminence Kappalite LF it also has a 5" FaitalPro driver and a B&C horn with a Faital Pro 1" compression driver bolted on the crossover is important for the gaps in frequencies. One of the cleanest cabs I’ve played through but handles a B string like a boss
  11. As most people who’ve been to the country know Cows are nosey buggers, they’ll head your way and surround you before you can blink an eye. want to get rid of them? Bass Solo!!!
  12. First the bass, then the amp and cab, then come the pedals again! all aboard the merry go round 🤣😂

I don’t know what it is but I do love a white bass, particularly a fender (strange I have non 🤔)
  14. The same day this was posted I got an email from footman James who I’ve used in the past for classic insurance, linking this post from the 1st of August this year https://www.footmanjames.co.uk/blog/classic-industry-need-young-to-survive?utm_source=SilverpopMailing&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=The Classic Dashboard - Flex Banner - DC - CCC 200822 (1)&utm_content=&spMailingID=34456076&spUserID=NDkzODkzMjIyNzg0S0&spJobID=2243828250&spReportId=MjI0MzgyODI1MAS2 anyone else from other areas get anything similar 😄
  15. Does the girl come with it? 😄
  16. Definitely the fender ‘flea’ jazz the American pure vintage 64 pickups in are superb and the playability is like butter, an all round superb bass for the money.
  17. If they’re old Ampeg’s change the bulb in the back
  18. What a bargain price for a lovely bass GLWTS
  19. There might be one or two lurking about 😄 welcome and stay away from the market place you’ll lose your wallet and gain a collection 🤣😂
  20. If they could have been tempted to go on with another drummer, I think that just killed it
  21. I’ve only had used, don’t think I’ve played a new one. Mine had probably been adjusted. 😄
  22. You wouldn’t. it’s the g string that’s allegedly quiet, I’ve never noticed it on stingrays I’ve had but apparently it’s out there 😄
