  1. Funny you should say that, that’s exactly where I went 😂🤣
  2. A week of sling then 6-12 weeks of no lifting I’ve been advised
  3. They’re going to assess it next week and see if I need a scan
  4. The most ridiculous way. never wore glasses before and they gave me varifocals so 3 different areas. I’d just put them on and everything looks like a bubble. missed a step and went down like a pole axe with my arms out in front of me landed on the one heavier 🤓 I didn’t break my glasses though so bonus!!
  5. Fortunately I went shopping last night so I’m set for groceries until my son comes the weekend
  6. I’m dreading sleep tonight I usually sleep on that side, I’ll have to pack myself in with pillows 😂🤣
  7. Just got to rest it and let all the stretched bits shrink back
  8. It is, but it popped back out when they took me for X-rays and I had to lift my arm so now I’m on ‘the register’ 😄 Sat at home with the blue sling on so it doesn’t move
  9. They popped it back in but now I’m stuck at home for at least a week until I get assessed by a physio i can’t even play bass!!
  10. The ball at the top of that arm should be in the socket about three inches above it 😄
  11. The day started so well, until… wish i had a bidet 😂🤣
  12. I’d be having all that out of there and starting again 😄 try this
  13. Hmm I still don’t know why your comparing this to a Noble you’d be better comparing to an ampeg B15, SVT IIP, or an ashdown ‘lil bastard’, The Noble is a tube DI, it’s not an amp designed to get gritty, overdriven fuzzy or synthy(sic) The Noble is a one trick pony because it’s meant to be just that. It’s warms the tone with the tubes and allows clean boost of the bass and treble without distorting. The fact you had to buy a separate DI puts the TBT in a different class of box and indeed it was designed for and is a guitar class A 2.5 watt power amp/preamp in stomp box format, although it has found other niches in studios. Im sure it’s a great piece of kit and I’d sure like to try one. However take the Noble for its purpose of a tube DI and compare the BTB In the same parameters and then the Noble wins. TLDR: TBT is a 2.5watt guitar amp/preamp, the Noble is a clean Tube DI, no comparison.
  14. Nice, I’ve been after one for a long time, I’ll keep my eye on the site
  15. You still need to be aware of the input sensitivity with mains/rack mount preamps. The SWR interstellar overdrive is notorious for not being able to power a lot of power amps at .775vrms
  16. Just from his language I’d look elsewhere particularly if he asks you for PayPal friends and family or bank transfer before you go over. I don’t know about the upgrade costs I’ll be honest, but would you know by looking at it that they’d been done? anyone who says: “I'm not interested in making a lot of cash for this, I just want it to go to someone who will appreciate it. It's worth about 450-500” and wants half that, I’d stay away from
  17. https://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/product/220410383803002--music-man-bass-hard-case https://www.dv247.com/en_GB/GBP/Music-Man-Case-for-Musicman-Stingray-4-5-/art-BAS0002336-000 There’s two ends of the scale
  18. I have a bit of a collection of preamps and pedal preamps and was having the same problem with some of them being below the 1.15vrms. I solved this by getting myself a crown xls 2502 which has Selectable input sensitivity; 1.4Vrms and 0.775Vrms options I think all the other models in the XLS line have this option. I got mine off the flea bay virtually unused for a few hundred pounds. I also use a powersoft LD 2004 which I plug my Noble into via the DI this has a sensitivity of 0.87vrms
  19. Not usually a big jazz fan but I came across an album the other day and I’m really enjoying it. Don’t know if this has been posted but I’m sure it’s worth another listen if it has.
  20. It’s @walshy he has some fine basses and excels with the precisions
