MB1 Feedback

Splendid result with MB1 whereby a pearl pickguard was supplied for his Stingray in exchange for a cheque! Being able to locate a chequebook in this day and age is highly commendable. Cheers Martin. just noticed it's written from a Midland Bank Limited book.
6. In the case of M D Philips the pronunciation would be Loo Tae Yer - roughly translated as Toilet To You as this also describes the standard the work one may expect.
7. Smooth transaction for a pickup from Derek. Pleasure to deal with.

11. Embarrassment of the above - sax player being very unpro in his pint drinking prior to soloing. We now have a different saxman. If anyone's interested (probably not) the first number features the Jazz pickup with tone down, finger-style, and the second clip is the Precision pickup with tone open and pleccy-stylee.
12. Psst, wanna see what genuine roadworn looks like? My 1963:- Edit - apologies to the purist/collector types but the J pickup was in there when I bought it many years ago.
13. I knew as soon as I typed that what the response would be and from whom
14. But the OP wants left-handed and I don't have any left-handed plastic in stock It's going to be a challenge. Maybe if I turn a regular piece upside down or do it in the mirror?

23.
Aluminium basses are good for metal.
Presumably basses made from human skeleton bones are good for folk.
24. Well you could certainly compensate by your technique but my answer would be to let the neck in slightly i.e. lengthen the neck pocket so that you achieve nearer 34.25 spacing nut to bridge. This is taken as the approximate measurement to the D and A string as the G is more like 34" and the E sring closer to 34.5 when the 'slope' is taken into account. You may need a tech to do this but it shouldn't cost much. The holes in the neck may need plugging and re-drilling to suit.
25. Listened to the first track this morning and it really cheered me up. Congratulations to whichever member of your talented team wrote the lyrics.........and they actually rhyme.......OI!
