1. shipping to the uk is 65 GBP. it is a fantastic amp indeed!
2. Hi folks, i am considering to part with my thunderfunk tfb750-a. 2 years old, very good conidition, located in flensburg/germany. shipping in europe ok, thinking about 800 GBP www.thunderfunk.com
3. the jo is laklands version of a 60ties jazz whereas the dj is more bases on a 70ties jazz. they are both very good, its all down to personal preference. i own a usa jo osborn 5 string with fralins and bartolini preamp that is fantastic. i used to own a dj5 skyline which also was very good but it was heavy as hell so it had to go again. if you buy one make sure that you get a light one; there are some quite heavy skylines out there. sandmann

7. gary, i know exactly how you´re feeling but don´t sell the yamaha or the wal for a gas attack. you´ll probably regret it one day. if you don´ want to spend so much money on a vintage fender than you should consider looking for a jv or sq squier. i own 4 old fenders (´74 p, ´75 p and ´76 p and a ´75 j) and 2 squiers (´82 p and a ´84 j). i love them all. most of the gigs are done with the squiers. the are as good and as beautiful as the fenders. they also have nice mojo and are a little bit lighter than my fenders. they just have that sound that we all know and sound just right in the band. regards, sandmann
8. very beautiful bass! it is one of the very early sandberg-instruments from the time when they only built a handful of instruments per month completly by hand. the quality of these instruments is outstanding, completly different from the mass-ware they build today. thumps up for a great instrument!!!!
9. yes, i own one. fantastic amp! what would you like to know?
10. i know that problem, mine does the same. i think it´s a constructio bug.
11. interesting thread ... i own a ´76 p-bass ash/maple and put a seymour duncan antiquity in it. expecnsive but wow, very good ... sandmann
12. fralin, nordstrand, seymour duncan quarterpounder, .... all very good. but as far as i know cliff williams used to play a musicman stringray with ac/dc, didn´t he? though i like the tone of a good fender p even better for this style of music ... sandmann
13. congratulations! i am so happy that you bought that hellborg rig, since it made you sell your mesa m6 to me! i am more than pleased with this fantastic piece of equipment, i haven´t touched my db750 since i got it. sandmann
14. i own the same bass only with a rosewood fretboard. these are incredible versatile and good sounding basses. good luck with the sale!!! sandmann
15.
she says she's not getting her bra out for you lot
The Sandmann´s got it!!!! YEAHHHHH!!!!!!!
16. not sure if that has been mentioned before: the road-worn instruments have a nitro-finish which makes them a lot more expensive. on the pictures they look quite nice (especially the dakota red ones ...) imo. i wonder how they look and feel compared to my old and battered ´73 p. sandmann

Heads up!

nice jazz but that must be a mistake on the price tag ... sandmann
18. i think the agro-preamp is pretty much the same circuit as the distortion-channel on the ag500. sandmann
19. would you consider shipping to 24937 flensburg/germany? how much would it cost approxametly? sandmann
20. would you be interested in a spector euro 4 plus cash: http://www.imgbox.de/?img=b23716v47.jpg regards, sandmann
21. hello, this is sandmann writing, i am new to this forum. it keeps me away from doing my work at the office .... these basses are fantastic. i wouldn´t mind the 80ties look as long as you do not play in a blues band ... the only reason i sold mine was the narrow string spacing at the bridge which i couldn´t get comfortable with. otherwise the sound of these basses is incredible. regards, sandmann
22. hello uk-bassplayers, i am new to this forum. very interesting!!! i already aquired a used ´75 p-bass form one of your members ..... your question: i own a ´76 stingray (sn. B0xxxx). string-through design, slim neck (bullet-truss-rod), very heavy ash-body but tone to die for. i use d´addario nickels extra-long. they fit perfectly and sound very good with this bass. regards, sandmann
23. wow, that is wonderful! would you ship this bass to flensburg/germany? regards sandmann
