i really know what you are going through, i was also suffering from thunderfunk gas ... my advice: wait patiently until one shows up and in the meantime try a glockenklang soul II or even better heart rock II. at least you thunderfunk gas will be cured immediatly...

can´t wait any longer ..... that video makes it even worse!

so some time has passed since the last post. has somebody played one yet? i have one on order but no one knows when it will arrive...

i´d recommend that you contact the technical service department of ebs, at least here in Germany they have a great customer service and are very helpful. maybe it is just a minor fault.

i like p basses so much i started to collect them .... at the moment i own 4 mia (1973, 1975, 1976, 2010 deluxe) and 3 mij (jv fiesta red, jv candy apple red and a 3tsb sq, probably the best of all of them!) plus a sadowsky metro 5 pj plus all my other stuff ... what will happen to the price of basses if the financial market crushes???

Both sound good and are loud enough for most occasions but these amps are in the end not my cup of tea. if i had to choose again: Reidmar all the way. i´d feel better with an used hd350 though.

i own one exactl like yours - whats the weight? mine is very heavy unfortunatly, almost 5kg. but i wouldnt play it on a pub gig so its not a big problem.

they built their own models back then, s1 and s2. handbuilt instruments of the highest quality. super to play but not as cool as fender-like basses sothey began to built the california series and forgot about their own amazing designs...

if you are used to the power of a db750 i would recommend the new glockenklang blue soul to you. its powerrating (650watts into 4Ohm) is very conservative. it feels like a lot more (in fact it has a 1000watt digital powersection). its got a very good rock tone and the quality is above all other. sandmann

the fan is loud on the db750 but i don´t care. i play it in a loud rockband and not at home for practise-reasons. the eq on the 751 might be a little bit more versatile but i miss nothing in the sound of my 750 so there is no desire for a more versatile eq for me. i´ll keep my 750.

what´s your budget? i am using it with a glockenklang duo 8ohm and it sound very very good. these are around for 500,- €.

i took of the heads lid today and checked all the small plugs inside the amp. One (a white one placed in the frontend of the heads interior) had come loose a little, probably caused by vibrations from the cabinet the head is placed on. i pressed it down again and now everything works as it should, no distortion at all, even at the smallest volumen. BE CAREFUL! CHECK THAT THE AMP IS NOT CONNECTED TO A POWERSUPPLY WHEN YOU DO THAT!!! Has anyone an idea how to make sure that the plugs are connected correctly and do not come loose again? Sandmann

funny, mine (new td660) does the same. in this price-league these things should not happen. Sandmann
