2.
Excellent stuff Kev!!
thanks!
3.
I'd love to walk into a pub and see a band like this. Interesting stuff.
You can walk into this place on May 24th and see a band exactly like this!
4.
Love it. Where can I buy the album?
The album is available from May1st but you can pre-order here: https://thoofa.bandcamp.com/releases
5. Ultra low action means a very different technique, as others have pointed out. You can get great results if you persevere with it. I have tried basses that have been set up this way by their owners but find them completely unplayable: the strings just choke or snag when I tried as I have my basses set up with a medium or high action.
6. One of my favourite guitarists. I hoped to see him play again. Alas....

10.
I like it. There's a slightly wider palette of sounds going on compared to "One Did", but still very recognisably yourselves.
Yep, we've worked on that for this new album
11. Ah, thanks. Yes, I can understand it's an acquired taste like black olives or Guiness...
12. The first video from the new album 'Thing or Two' out May 1st. Lots of 'bass action' in this one http://youtu.be/j-nIP_TYsrU
13. *studies bank account*.....
14. After 20 months ....finally SOLD Thank you, sir

17. http://youtu.be/EppFlvbPO8k The complete remastered album is now up on Youtube and a free download over at Bandcamp if you fancy it. Kev
18. I have three that scale CB Ball bass (currently for sale) Stradi GMR
19. Very difficult tone to emulate, in fact there's no one who really sounds like him - that gigantic, grinding vibrating sound. I love the way his lines climb then dip suddenly. They're just fantastic bass parts.
20. Bidding is a wretched process. I haven't 'won' anything in years and prices go up to what you can buy it for new pretty much every time. I hate it. It might be alright if you're looking for toilet lids and radiators, I suppose. I'm not surprised 'buy it new' is commonplace because who wants to go through that bidding process?
21.
I really like the Bass sound, along with lovely playing and a unique composition (very original and reminds me of what an electric modern day, Carl Stalling piece would sound like) Not keen on the looks though. It does look like it would be at home in 'Looney Tunes' or 'Merrie Melodies' productions. Good stuff.
Thanks. I do love the Carl Thompson shape - it makes every other bass shape feel like a big, unbalanced lump in comparison.
