I Steinberger£999i am in a strange situation at the moment , where I'm no longer playing and holding onto nostalgia . After moving into a smaller flat , I guess I have to be ruthless and ask myself " do I really need all of these basses ?" How many hands have you got ?" The basses I am keeping are the jack Daniels , the Washburn status , the fretless vester which is a copy of a Warwick and an actual Warwick which I bought here from a great basschatter in August last year. Anyway , I have here the Steinberger XM3 not so common as the XM2 which is a rarity in itself A few bits of wear and tear obviously for a 30+ year vintage instrument . It comes with original gig bag which has seen bettter days tbh , plus a brand new gig bag purchased from amazon a couple of months ago. Also slighly tattered envelope and paraphernalia . One thing to note : It eats batteries and should be looked at by a tech . Socket or wiring issue ?? comes with additional brand new tiger gig bag , purchased all the way from the amazon. The other bass Custom fretless 4 string made by Mybass of this parish. 2 piece mahogany main body wood that was off a very old piece of furniture. American black walnut top . A five piece maple / Wenge neck. Macassar ebony fretboard The control guard may be Macassar , but peter is not 100% sure on this. Controls are vol/vol/ tone. Although headless , the tuning system uses standard string single ball ends . A bit like the Steinberger tuning system but it fits normal strings and not headless . There are Seymour Duncan humbuckers. There are 2 strap holders allowing 2 strap place options . Scale length is 34" with a double octave neck . nut width is a tad over 1.5"/39.3mm.It has 3mm side dit's starting at low F . There are 6 wood chipped screws holding the neck solidly in place. The neck leans more towards a p bass size than a jazz bass. The body and neck have an oil finish (try oil on body). This bass is very light in weight and has a great sound . The action is light to the touch . although pictured with 3 strings , I have a new set available . Just haven't had time . They're dadarrio. comes with excellent paddded Rockbag gig bag. Trade wise? Maybe a green Yamaha attitude , which means that I've trimmed one bass. or anything Moog , as I have just got a grandmother . Now for the pictures. Pm me with offers I'm based in Parkstone Dorset Dont wanna post, but if you arrange your own courier ..😼 More pics to come

I have this cool practice amp , with inputs for your bass and cd/ etc . It is very loud in the flat tbh. I used to have a 5 string which it handled no problem . I'm on a purge to get rid of clutter in my flat . It doesn't take up much space tbh, but is surprisingly heavy. Collection from parkstone Dorset ( between Poole / Bournemouth ) Thanks

Struggling with space at the moment in small flat , so regrettably trimming the herd . Comes with Brandon custom gig bag .,which was purchased new and just collecting dust. The bass is hanging on the wall in my bedroom , but bizarrely enough looks out of place and a mirror can be used in that space. yes really 🙀😹 The bass itself , only has 2 strings , as I stole from it to use on another bass . it has a few small marks but is in great shape imho . Ive had this about 8-9 years but really only bought it to look at it ,as it is rather quirky 😸 Collection only I'm afraid , from parkstone in Dorset ( between Poole and Bournemouth ) I have a guitar stand , that I don't want . It's included if you want it . Trades? Well, can't really think of anything ..except a Roland RBx bass combo that has the built in looper. i have the micro one , but the one with the looper looks cool and uncomplicated for bedroom practice . if there's no interest , then I'll probably end up leaving it there . Thanks

I'm trying not to . Doing that can be very expensive . Then again, I have a few basses and am not in a band ...😹 -

Yeah, I love that guy . Knows his stuff. That vid was the main reason I got it . i looked at lots of his vids, plus others regarding Moog products . I was looking at the sub 37 which looks great , but too much going on. almost got the minitaur , but it looked like something was missing . The mother has great possibilities , but li thought that this was the one to go for at the end of the day . Lots of you tube clips to keep me enthused ..😸 -

Yeah , the design is a little marmite ..or tandy , but what attracted me to it was how it's not as complicated as others . Still a lot to learn. Possibilities are endless . No presets, banks or patches . There are a few examples shown , which is a good starting point for absolute beginners . -

Oops! I meant minitaur 😸 -
Howdy! I saw the above on you tube a few months ago, and loved the look and sound of the demos / prentations etc. i know that Moogs are generally expensive ( this being my last musical purchase for some time 😺) . They are often seemed to be investments ,and never really lose their resale value etc. I have had a mess around on their apps ,which are great but the thought of getting one of these has always been at the back of my mind. I looked at the Taurus which is cheaper, but tbh I would rather plug and play at anytime, rather than fiddling around an my Mac . So, the going rate for us in the uk, Is £879.00 . I sent a question to gear 4 music if they could do it for me cheaper,,as I kept getting emails telling me the loyalty discounts I could get as I purchased a few things from them over the last couple of months. The best they would offer ,is £859.00 . So, I thought I'd wait till Black Friday . I sent an email to Moog midweek, asking if they have any Black Friday deals for the grandmother and have not got a response . Fair enough . so, yesterday I looked and found the prices dropped suddenly 😸👍. Well, I say dropped, but g4m are charging £899! 😾 i saw one price that I couldn't ignore £773.52 from Rub a dub . I spoke to them on the phone ,placed order and I have just received it 😸 great service , nice guys 😸👍👍 this morning I noticed g a k are selling it for £749 Tbh, I'm not too bothered , because I figured that the price I got from rub a dub wouldn't last so, that's my early birthday and xmas present . I have no idea how it'll work but it looks great . I'm a total beginner . No slinky though 😿 just a heads up . I know times are hard, but it seems a bargain . Now to plug it in ....

Two things to mention; 1) I found my iPhone 5s box which still has my earphones in unused. What I did this morning was use them , but wth the AKG headphones over them . Brilliant sound , I kid you not 2) this morning , I received 3 new cables . Very quick. 1 was a bit stiff coming out , but they are all good. Splendid . Tomorrow , I will change over to the new AKG headphones ( I only bought them for the lost cord previously ) The present ones are gonna be used for backup
