  1. I would suggest ,just save up a few more pounds and get something from the Dean range of basses if you wanna rock
  2. If for whatever reason. you're not enjoying it leave! Most bands I've been in have a''' democratic'' approach,(ie majority) Sit back, relax, now go to Partysounds or whatever site you want and join/form something better...
  3. Top bloke! He bought some hangers for his collection of basses from me. Paid instantly
  4. After a yellow one someday. Also like the surf green like the billy sheehan attitude
  5. Awesome setup! I have the AG500SC/DB112(TWEED!) Love Aguilar
  6. tone controls in the wrong place
  7. Mine's going for£250.00(pics in the for sale section)
  8. I normally Hate this song, but this is good!
  9. Unfortunately ,the smaller the rig-the more expensive it is. Alot of it comes down to wattage(ie band rehearsal/gigging situations) I would say you need around 250 watts as a rough guidline. If you could stretch to around £700.00 you could get yourself a used Mesa Boogie Walkabout Scout combo. I was after one of these for a while as I don't drive. I decided in the end to go the cab/head route and now own an Aguilar cab and head which is awesome! Now and again Genz Benz heads come up on here and they look good. Other Basschatters may have other recommendations If you have a car then you may be interested in my Eden Nemesis 1x10 combo(or is it 1x15?) going for a lot less. Hope this helps
  10. Like Out7shined, mistaahbenn ,al and silverfoxnik KD is a really nice guy to do business with.A credit to Basschat
  11. Thaaaank you! Now I'm blushing
  12. Now,if this was available LAST YEAR I would've had this..but now I have an Aggie Bump for you
  13. When you get to your 40's your body changes for the worst unfortunately imho. However, isn't it amazing how tense our bodies are /have been over the years without realising.. When I was seeing a fitness trainer on a weekly basis ,she was showing me more yoga/pilates movements. She obviously mentioned the AT to me as well. Believe it or not ,altho' I'm only 6ft tall I had /have a tendancy to lower my head when talking to 'smaller' people. When I tell people I'm only 6ft some of them look in disbelief due to my large build/frame. Of course ,having a heavy bass on your shoulders isn't always good. The Billy Sheehan method of having your bass the same height sitting down and standing up is essential for good posture. The Hookie method ,altho' it looks good is actually bad.(not good for bald people either) I also recommend pilates/yoga as well.(Not enough hours in the day to do it all ).
  14. Back in the early days, altho' it had loads of adverts it was brilliant and the only mag for us. Now ,I'd only buy it if something/someone's in there that appeals to me. Over the years the ads are still there but it seems to be full of lots of people that aren't too well known over here. It needs ,like the gu***r mags a dvd/cd . Come to think of it so does the uk bgm...
  15. Nice guy to do business with!

  17. It also has a nice smell to it. Sometimes the mag appears when you least expecty it. When you look for it it isn't there. There have been better issues tho'. The American Bass Player mag seems to be filled with ads and mostly people that are unknown over here. What would be good is if there was a dvd/cd with each issue like the g**tarists get.
  18. The Clash are not really my bag. However,I listened to both of them and you are really good
  19. I was just getting into it ..then it stopped! Nice..
