1. Well, you need to vegan interface . Or you could get a lead which has standard guitar jack on one end and a USB at the other. I use a toneport ux1 by line 6. Somebody else will be along shortly
2. Well , sort of. I saw a you tube clip of his new band, and I'm not sure what to make of it really. (Sorry, dont know how to upload yt vids) As my friend says' sounds like Lemmy doing Megadeth.' Maybe 2 guitards are needed. Can't see this band going for very long.Maybe i'm wrong.
3.
Can't do that; double-barrelled names are SO last year, and the Punk-Dude Estate is trying to maintain it's credibility to get down wiv da kids.
Cant really argue with that ,)
4. No! Leave waynepunkdude as is ,)
5. Cool! More info please- especially the ice cream bass (2nd left),
6. I find that sometimes , if I just noodle around on the Bass unplugged, just for a few minutes my technique improves. Weird
7. If its not fun anymore , then it's time to move on.
8.
You haven't missed a lot in sunny Surbiton. In fact i don't go there since Bell's music emporium closed some years ago. P.S. I'm Twickers born and bred.
Cool. Where are you based. Now ?
9. Sorry no. Ive been living in twickenham 10 years . As i dont drive, only been to surbiton a couple of times .) ( where's the blush icon?)
10.
Those are all definitely future collectables but also very collectable now. I was meaning things that were cheap and nobody really wanted. I remember seeing Mutron 111s going for 30-40 US Dollars in the early 90s. Also all those Jedson, Columbus, Satellite and Hondos that you couldn't wait to trade in for the real thing! Don't know how long you've lived in Twickers Ray but i remember that Bells of Surbiton was full of those brands in the 70s and 80s. They'd be worth a fortune now!
Oops! Just reread your op,) in which case i would say, Encore , Dean stylist, and hondo/columbus and satellite that you already mentioned,)
11. I would say kubicki ex factor, Billy's Attitude in green. original steinbergers. Pedals? Id say bass whammy, akai deep impact. Amps? '80s gallien kruegers.Aguilar .
12. With drums, you have to use your feet as well as your hands at the same time. Bit like driving a car really. I can do neither. So , i think drums are difficult ,)
13. One other thing; when mr drums was going somewhere other than rehearsal, the sat nab was on full blast and he still got lost quite often.
14. Unfortunately , I cannot drive. I have as small a rig as possible. In my previous bands, mr guitar( then mr drums after he quit )used to give me a lift. I always offered a soft drink or cash. Now and again a oft drink was accepted. There were occasions where I would be excluded from get togethers because of this . I would use public transport wherever necessary. I didn't like being a hinderance, but it was either that or no band. Sometimes I wish I lived in central London like I used to.
