  1. I'll have to dust down my Jupiter 8, I think I even have the Hungry like a wolf Sequencer settings still! I even have more hair than Nick Rhodes! lol
  2. Looks like I am going to miss out on this beautiful bass! Someone is going to be very happy! Kev's a top bloke too!
  3. May be available again. I think Geert wants to hold on to his Pedulla Buzz. Will post up some pics and revise the ad tomorrow depending on what happens with the trade.
  4. May already have gone. So now on Hold to Geert.
  5. That's a peach Clarky! I may be trading my fretted Custom for a fretless very soon!
  6. I am after a Fretless Wal, there is one I have my eye on and the owner is being patient but my budget is a little short. So sadly the only avenue left is to sell my Fretted Mk1 Custom Wal. I am open for a straight swap for a fretless Wal, not too fussed on model, prefer a Mk1 but not so fussed. Only interested in trade on a fretless Wal or a Pedulla Buzz. Must be a 4 stringer. Price wise would be looking at Around £2,250 Pics to follow.
  7. I still think this talented photographer could put together a belting calendar - I'd buy one!!!
  8. This thread is from September?
  9. omg, a true Bass pioneer. I will toast him tonight whilst admiring my Wal Custom sitting proudly in my front room. RIP Pete.
  10. Cheers guy's, I love my fretted Wal and it woul be a last resort to change her. I have played a ton of fretlesses but the Wal is by far the sweetest I have played I just love that woody sound. Might look out for a fretless Thumb. I missed out on a Wal Fretless a few weeks back for £1,500 at Bass Direct but it was the cheaper passive pro and I though £1,500 was a little steep. I then thought sod it and it was sold! A wal Fretless neck would put me back some £850!
  11. Welcome! Famous musicians from Welwyn Garden City? Does Alesha Dixon count!?
  12. Ok so here's the deal, I want a Wal fretless but have a limited budget of £1500 so do I go for something else or get my fretted mk1 defretted? Tough call!
  13. Where abouts in Bucks are you?
  14. SOLD Pending to Mr Rumble...
  15. Cheers guys, have mailed them both for a quote!
  16. No worries Paul, quite understand. Have replied to other PMs this morning.
  17. I didn't reply to a pm from two days ago, bit harsh. Replied to your PM.
  18. Hi, I am thinking of buying a fretless Stingray that currently has a lined fretless rosewood neck, I love the bass but really want to have a fretless lined ebony neck fitted. Can it be done? Can anyone recommend a top luthier to carry out the task and if anyone has a ball park figure I woul dbe most grateful. Cheers, Steve.
  19. So tempted.............. Free bump...
  20. Having been quoted a grand for a new Wal fretless neck to be created and attached to my Fretted Custom mk1 you can see the logic in getting this 'bass' assuming the neck is in good condition. I wonder how he aquired the neck and pups?
  21. God I am tempted, but two Wals in two weeks will have my other half kicking me out! ;o)
  22. Cheers guy's, it is indeed the one on Bass Direct, it's a 2 pup version and active. Its a bit far for me to try might just hold out for a Wal Fretless if I can get it passed the wife!
