1. Arghh, this is the bass I am after. And your just down the road from me! Please someone buy my Duck Dunn!
 2. The Hofner not my thing but thanks for the offer. What's the fretless Jazz?
How about my Hofner Verithin + £150.00 cash or I have a Fretless Jazz + cash? Will.
3. Ah, I thought it the Sonic Blue one. To be honest I would still want some £300 on top of a Squier or OLP. Trade wise I would be interested in a US Precision Black (With Maple), a Ray or a nice fretless. The price is a straight £500 collected or £535 shipped.
 4. Currently on the bay, basschatters get priority. Might consider an olp or classic vibe P plus cash?
 5. Ok Pics added, just looks like cables to me...
 6. I'll take a few photo's, never delved into the electronic side before so any advise would be much appreciated.
A photo of the innards might help Sherlock types on this forum. Did the bass have to be hollowed out at all to increase the size of the control cavity to fit a preamp in?
7. After removing the guard, I am no wiser. There appears no markings bar the numbers 0711. The volume also controls the active/passive switch.
 8. Evening Dave, they could not recall what the pre-amp was so I am taking the plate off tonight to find out myself. Will report back.
 9. Your bass is not Sage Green is it? I sold one a while ago and added a Gotoh 201 Bridge? I find a bit of Chorus and some lovely flats helps the mwwhha sound..
Hi guys, Have just got hold of a beautiful MIM Fretless Jazz Bass which feels and sounds great. Has a Gotoh 201 bridge fitted. when I plug it in I don't seem to be able to get as much of the freless 'Mwaah' that I hoped for. Sounds great when not plugged in! Playing through a Phil Jones Briefcase. I'm thinking of different pickups as these are standard MIM ones. Any thoughts. I wanted to keep the tone of the bass (which is awesome), so was thinking that active PUP's were out. will be playing mainly Jazz/Soul. Any suggestions? will the pickups make the difference? I'm a PUP numpty I'm afraid. Budget is tight so can't spend fortunes. Advice much appreciated.
10. Any particular trade you are after, bass wise?
 11. No sorry.
any interest in my all original 1977 Guild B-301 fretless? Cheers
12. Following a non paying bidder on E-Bay my Lakland DD is back up for sale. She is in as new condition and has an active/passive switch added (along with a pre-amp obviously). Was £550 now £500 or potentially a trade. Trade wise: Fretless P, Stingray, Steve.
 13. SOLD - Pending Payment
2008 Duck Dunn With upgraded pre-amp Hi, Despite this being the best P I have owned I am afraid that I need to go back to a fretless for a new project I am now working on. I bought this bass 6 weeks ago from Chandler guitars and it was already upgraded with a pre-amp. It was professionaly done and a better job I have yet to see. The bass is immacualte without a scratch or blemish and the neck is very jazz like. The range of tones is astonishing. The Dunn's seem a bit rare these day's. The bass only comes with a gig bag and thus I would prefer the potential buyer to collect it rather than ship but happy to wrap it fit for a nuclear attack if you require it shipping (at your cost) I am looking at £550 for it. Tradewise: A fretless USA Precision, must be an original Fretless and not a defretted. Anyone who feels a need to trade for a Fretless Wal or Pedulla - no problem ;o) Please PM for Pics..
14. Bought an upgraded Duck Dunn with pre-amp, just realised totally by accident the volume control knob doubles as the active/passive switch! Doh!!!
