2. The hardest bassline was the first one I ever learned.
3. Have some fun and play them by ear.
4.
great track. i like. although i was familiar with some of their stuff 'back in the day', i never got into them that much. kicking myself now though. i'll investigate further.. cheers. you're right steve, what's not to like about a band that allows the bass to rip ?
This is why the Melvins are great.
5. You sir are a dude.
6.
For me 'Jeff' sums up everything that went wrong with the 70s between the end of glam rock and the beginning of punk. You just know that his band were some third-rate Eagles sound-alike that had one album out on an un-hip label like Arista and then sunk without a trace. Of course I'm not saying the Adam or Jason are any better... Must dig out my old copies of IM and see if there are any more cringe worthy ads from the 70s.
What went wrong is that everybody is now as miserable as f*** and it's like punk never happened.
7.
close contender

8.
Good evening, Steve... This one..? Not much available for me (1950...)...
That would do nicely.
9. 1966 and left handed, any suggestions?
10.
Kramer, with pointy headstock....
Want
11. Don't stress. I used a Peavey Mark VI head into a 4 ohm 2x15 cab on stage at Finsbury Park, 210 watts. Let the monitors do the work, FOH sound will be cool.
12. Considering the scarcity of these things I'd say that was a good price.
13. SR 16, very good, easy to use, 50-70 is about right.
14.
Enough lawyers will draft it so it isn't so easy to work around, then a little bit of case law from the Court of Appeal or higher will fill in the gaps, I spot the 37" dingwall low B loophole already. Chapman sticks remain a grey area. Possession of a Chapman stick with intention to groove the low end.
Well said.
15.
whoop! hello baby! I had the power switch replaced with a Boogie item but they didn't supply the original shape. Damn I'm tempted but I wouldn't know what to do with it since going Class D on both bass rigs and hifi.
What preamp did you use with it when used in your hifi, or did you just plug a CD player straight in, and what class D amp you you now use in your hifi?
16.
Huh, nothing but a bunch of copies, facsimiles if you will.
Rickenbackers gone strange.
17. Great songs. DIY ethic with her new label, I want her to tour. She is spellbinding.
18.
Alan Price? Terrible halitosis. Never get into a lift with him. For a bit of questionable breadth, how about Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard and other 50's R&R piano-led sh*t?
Come to think of it, I do recall seeing a box of Gold Spot aerosoles in his dressing room.
19.
I have been paying the £10 a month for about a year now, and I think it's pretty decent value for what it is. I listen to far more music in a month on it than I could buy online/on CD for that much, and being able to download stuff to my iPhone is brilliant. Additionally, I will often buy albums that I've spotified a lot and really enjoy. Well worth the price of a pint a week I think. It does pay artists sod all though: Having said that, someone on another forum I read put it like this, which makes more sense:
Excellent post.
20. Billy Joel, Queen. Here's one for Herr Skank.
21. Crack, smack, viagra, hookers. Get Charlie Sheen on her ass. Or when she gets in, make her a nice cup of tea and cheese on toast and tell her how excited you are about looking for a new car for her over the holiday period.
22. Lyrics are great though.
23. If Pharrell wasn't such a slut, I would love his work.
24. KD Lang blew them all off stage. Fleet Foxes....too much knitware for my liking.
