1. Hi, just a bit of tyre kicking here, what ohm ratings are the cabs? Do you get the full 400w through them? My first proper amp was a Combo 300, then my first touring rig was a Mark 6 with 2x15" Black Widow cab....what a great sound but heavy.
2.
+1 for good amps and yes the op is 500 watts. The seller is obviously one of the missing knobs but it is a good price.
I wish I was as well informed as you. our zole.
3. Standard tuning for me too. I've been playing my 6 string for 4 days, for a couple of hours each day and I am becoming more familiar with the bass each time I pick it up. So the moral of the story is, get stuck in and enjoy yourself. Get down with your good self, get down with bad self.
4. Didn't Muzz Skillings leave to be a fireman ? Saw them on the Vivid tour at Manchester Poly.
5. Get those "Strapps" on here, 10 4 good buddy. I'll definitely have one as I've been ars*d around by the Bass Centre too. BTW I've NEVER found the Bass Centre to be good value or consistantly helpful. I've always found them to be a bit up themselves, even in Wapping.
6.

Move up to the Bumper baby..... MB1. Dont ya mean Pull?... Oops
7. I've been playing my ACG 6 string through this and it sounds amazing but I still need to sell it for lighter gear or trade it. Handles a low B with balls and grace.
8. She plays like a dream and sounds totally brutal.
9. For the love of Mike, this is getting silly. £400. Final offer, if not I'll keep it as a stay at home amp.
10. Hi, I've just got my first 6er and as everyone has said, it's a whole new pan of cuttlefish to deal with. I've been playing on and off for 20 years so if anything it will probably be harder to adjust from 4 to 6 strings. That said I play acoustic guitar and I thought that would help me, wrong. Playing bass and playing guitar are two totally different things. The more you have the bass in your hands and the more you play it the easier it will come.
11. Need to shift so I can get an amp and 4 ohm cab. Cash, trades W.H.Y.G. ?

17.
