Take a blow torch to it, then sand some of the blackened bits back to the wood. Fit a chrome steel scratch plate and get someone to engrave a picture of Astro Boy on it. Stain orange then some serious oiling or waxing to protect the finish. Get down with your bad self.
Go on the Carvin web site or the Pedulla and put in all of your custom options then press total. Make sure you are sitting down though And you will see who's bass looks like it's worth double
I want to go to a lighter set up, then this turns up. Have to carry guitar and bass and drums up and down 4 flights of stairs every week, by the time we set up we need oxygen.
Ashdown Mini 48 4x8", 600w, 8 ohmns, loud, clear and in good condition except for a scuff down the right side. Pics to follow. £170. Cheers. Steve. Not made in China. This is the discontinued model that sold for £600. CheersSteve
+ 1 for Freddie Washington, who is playing for Steeley Dan at the mo. Disco can mean a lot of things. Do you mean the Golden period of Northern Soul, or the Studio 54 era? How about Rapture by Blondie, nice and simple but groovey as f**k.
Sugden, you know you can't ever part with this as it will be featured in 20 years time in an ACG retrospective in some bass guitar magazine or other. A classic ACG MASTERPIECE.
I love your rig, it looks 100% on the money, classic Ashdown. I cant understand the way this brilliant English (not Chinese) amplification is constantly slagged. When it was first released Ashdown instantly became World class gear, just look at the people who STILL use it.
Well actually it depends on the bass I guess. Judge each on its own merits etc. The 6 string left handed ACG bass on here recently for example just looks 'right' as a single cut.
I agree.
Is this still for sale???

Buy it! I cant raise the money for a while, so if you can BUY IT. You may not get another chance to get a Wal for such a good price, then you can sell it to me next year when I'm a bit more solvent
I'm also up for trades on amp heads, 500w + that sound good for finger style and a bit of slap. So get in touch with what you've got. Also the price is £400 because it's in such good nick but I know times are hard so send sensible offers. I'm just outside of Liverpool so could meet people part way for collection as posting could be expensive. Thanks for looking Steve.
