1. OK. Look forward to hearing from you.
 2. Go on, go on, go on, go on, how much?
 3. Good luck. If you sell it why don't you buy my combo and cab for £550.
 4. Hi Paul, what amp are you using to take its place? BTW any chance of us lefties looking at your basses past and present?
 5. What a brilliant interview. I never realised GK hade such a history. And what a great site too.
 6. All valve heads weigh too much. Great if you have a road crew but.... Marshall VBA 400 36kg. £750, sounds amazing but 80lbs Noooooooo.
 7.
OK for Pangborn anoraks only - spotted it wasn't the one on the flier - hope you are not too disappointed. The other stuff is a price list from the Bass Centre (you could probably work that out for your self, I got mine straight from Ashley), and a review from the bassist magazine.
Oh my. I used to lust after Ashley's basses more so than JD's but didn't want to wait the build time so I bought a JD, which was a pig of a bass. But I so want it back.
 8. That's beautiful. He is truely brilliant. If it sounds anything like mine, you will be more than happy. The neck shape is great too.
 9. Strip all the hardware and then take it to a local martial arts club so they can beat the crap out of it. Then you will have some mojo, ala JJ Burnell.
 10.
unlike some, yes i would sell it back for no more than i bought it for, i take it from that comment that you, like toasted, like to rip people off when it suits you. fact: the pedal, and the sound it produces, is not worth over £75, that is what i was prepared to pay for it. the fact is your up your own arse on this forum, and you make sure you let everyone else know it. yes you know alot about effects and so on, im not disputing that, but your just so hostile to people who challenge your knowledge, hence why you and joe have had a grudge against me since i joined the forum. you scuppered a perfectly fair and good deal
So I can't sell my cab for what I paid and not a penny more? Make your mind up Kevin.
 11.
LAST PRICE for the MTD: 350 pound (This includes bass, hardcase, and a recently done Setup including fretdress. ) P&P NOT included in this price, it will be around 80 pound +/-
Sounds like a good price, considering all the extras.
i still personally think your askin too much, and the £80 or whatever shipping makes it a no go for me, n no doubt most people, if your offering a bass for sale in a different country to uk, you should pay that kinda shipping. if not, put it on ebay
Why don't you read what you are getting for the price. I thought you you were interested in this bass. It seems that you don't want sellers to get a fair price. BTW what would you have been using to power my cab with? I think your Torque amp may have been a bit under powered. Seems like you like to tyre kick!
 12. Love the bass and LOVE the avatar. You cool M..... F.....
 13.
I use both - cases for tours (not so often these days ;-) ) and "van" type gigs, and gig bags for rehearsals or car gigs. Basically if I'm the only one going to carry it then a gig bag but if I am likely to have other people "helping" then I'm more likely to use a hard case. Cheers John
Agreed.
 14.
Hey fella. There are a lot of grumpy old men on here that non the less have a lifetime of experience. They wont even read your OP; Sorry but just cos its an internet forum does not mean that spelling, gramma and punctuation are not required and txt spk is OK. GOM
Oh my. So you need to have an A in English language to be able to post? Bass or for that matter, any instrument, is for people to be able to express themselves. I have seen 100's of spelling mistakes and punctuation errors on this site. So why now do you choose to publicly correct a new member?
 15. 16. Could you please show us a collection of your basses. Past and present. I've seen you advertise many beautiful instruments, I'd love to see them all(and be able to buy some)
 17. Pity about that imperfection on the upper horn. Is it a pocket of resin?
 18.
I'm moving house, and my stack needs to go. I'm looking to sell it or swap it for a combo. Maybe a bit of cash adjustment either way on the trades front, but I'd want at least 250W of power in the combo. I suppose I'm guaging interest with this post, but I do need rid of it, and I'll welcome any thoughts or questions you guys have on it. Here's the deal: Peavey Mark 6 Head (from the mid to late 90s). Made in the USA.

400W @ 2ohm. 250W @ 4ohm.
high & low gain imputs
built in chorus (footswitchable, with 2 rotary controls)
built in compression (footswitchable, with 2 rotary controls,)
high & low shelving rotaries
9 band graphic eq
bright and punch buttons
DDT speaker protection
power amp in, and preamp out
variable crossover for the preamp (must be used with a stereo poweramp, or with the 'power amp in' section of this amp and another amp.
very good condition, serviced regularly.
black carpet covering
bombproof construction
210TX cab. Made in the UK.

2 x 10" drivers
HF horn with attenuation knob on rear of cab
recessed side handles
black carpet covering
very good condition
115BXBW cab. Made in the USA.

15" black widow speaker/driver
super sturdy recessed side handles
immense power
black carpet covering
condition: between average and good (for 2nd hand)
I've only gigged it about 10 times, and for half of those I didn't use the whole lot! If you need a big, loud amp you could do a lot worse than this. I am looking around the £450 mark as the head and 210 are in flipping sweet condition, and it's all fully working. (The head cost me £469 alone 10 years ago) If anyone wanted any photos I could email you some. I'm not into photobucket & the like, but I suppose I could have a crack at it if there was enough interest. I live in lovely Bradford (West Yorks) if anyone's interested. Cheers for looking.
Hi what are the ohm ratings of each cab? Cheers Steve.
