1. We are the forgotten ones.
2. More pics of the Wilkes, with the "Slap Plates". Please?
3. Hi Kev that's a lot of buttons on there, how does it sound? £70 off and it's just left the shop, are you crazy?
4. Tthat's divine.
5. Found this on Talkbass. 1200 watts, 7 lbs, I think. Now what are you Shuttle owners gonna do?
6. This plus this," Am I the only Basschatter who wanted McCain to win?" = grow up?
7. ooops! Don't want to upset anyone. I'll rename said piece of info.
8. You know what, I think you are right, I can see clearly now that I am totally wrong and have imagined ARGH's abusive, sorry passionate replies were all figments of my imagination.
9.
28.0k ohm ? That's crazy output! Does it sound good?
Bloody hell that's a nuts output!!! I love the look of this bass, much, much better that all the others, in fact if I was flush and a righty, I'd buy it. Well done my friend.
10. I don't think Mr ARGH is a good ambassador for Jim Fleeting. He is far too aggressive to people who show anything but praise to Mr Fleeting. I'm sure Jim is very grateful for the commissions from ARGH but in my eyes, ARGH is doing a disservice to Jim, as he is portraying himself as some kind of pitbull to Jims reputation and this is putting me off from having anything to do with Jim. I personally think Jims creations are stunning, a mix of a deep understanding of the arts and crafts of the 19th century, renaissance building and good communication with the customer, indeed, I would relish the opportunity to try one of Jims creations.
11. If I didn't already have them in 3 out of 4 of my basses I'd have them but they wouldn't fit. Bump.
12.
That looks stunning and I bet it sounds just as good. I love Bass Machines, cool name, cool designs.

Boss GT10B

If you think the Zoom was complex then the GT10B will be on a par. I have the GT6B and it took a while to get use to programming patches, storing them in logical locations but the hardest part is tweeking all the levels, eq's and such-like so as to keep it sounding musical. Prior to this I had only ever used a chorus pedal and that only lasted a couple of months. I would rather look out for a good second-hand GT6B and save yourself over £200.
14. Come on people, the cabinet and case are easily worth the asking price, just think what replacement hi-power neos could do to this cab.
15. I did something similar to my KGB headless in 1990 and instantly regreted it. This is a total abortion, made worse by the fact that he has gone through to the wood on the back of it. A complete refinish makes this bass worth £3-400. What a tit.
16. I'm glad to here that the pups will fit and a great sanding job done, by hand!!! Palm sanders are great and if you can make a sanding drum on a piece of thick dowl (double sided cellotape on some 240 garnite paper) you can get the curves done on an electric drill in no time
17.
Okay I'm now officially putting these up for trade. Need to thin the herd. I have very specific wants though ... must be 5-string, fretless and unlined with and ebony fingerboard. I think it's unlikely to be a Status therefore, so I'm just posting here because of what I'm offering up as trades. My 'wanted' posting is HERE. If you do have a Status with an ebony fingerboard that you want to trade, I'd be interested to hear about it. You might try offering me cash for these, but I'll let you know in advance it'll need to be an offer I can't refuse. I'd really much prefer to trade one or more of the basses for something like, oooh, I don't know, say an F-Bass BN5F or Lakland 55-94 fretless. Andy
Both superb basses, I love the Electro.
18.
I guess that is made a lot easier by the fact that it's fretless.
Classic fail, doh, doh and doh again. Easy job then for any skilled luthier.
19. The only way you will be able to sort this is by removing the frets and having the finger board planed straight, then refretted and levelled. Sorry.
20. An EMG's Jazz set won't fit in there, the rear route is the same as the neck one, you would have to get two neck pups. You're gonna have to remove a lot of wood to shift the stain, why not spray an undercoat then solid colour.
21. Here's the grumpy one doing his thing in fine style. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=1EcxC5AgnPU&...feature=related I would hate to see AJ's "f*** face". Check out his work with Chaka Khan, the best.
22.
Here is mine: Pedro
Very nice indeed.
23. Definately aimed at the Poodles.
24. My eyes have seen it, it is a total f***ing beast.
25. Beautiful and elegant.
