josh3184 Posted November 4, 2008 Share Posted November 4, 2008 (edited) LeftyZoot Boudica, neck through. Neck is a mixture of maple, walnut and a purple heart centre. Fretboard is ebony. The main body wings are american swamp ash and the facing is english spalted ash. LEDs with a knob to turn them off and on, plus it can dim them to whatever brghtness you want. Quite useful in a dark gig, plus they look b*tchin! Knobs etc are: volume, pickup balance, 3EQ (stacked bass/treble) and right at the bottom is the LED knob. Bottom switch is active/passive, so you can flick off the preamp if batteries start to die. Top switch is what I like to call the dub switch, cuts highs and some mids to get a reggae type sound. The Aeros are passive pickups and they work really well bypassing the eq. Eq is Aguilar OBP-3 which is gorgeous! Bridge is through body or the normal way or any mix of the two if you want. I have contacted the mods to have something made for lefty basses such as a sticky or something. I think they are still trying to decide whether to expand more or not so maybe this will happen soon.
