  1. @Graham A Sounds fantastic- thanks very much for the uploads! Much appreciated.
  2. Looks really nice! How are you getting on with the Guild?
  3. Yikes, that's a hefty jump!
  4. @Graham A How's the Bruce Thomas now you've had it a while?
  5. I'm running out of excuses not to buy one of these!
  6. How's the neck compared to your Precision? Good luck with the new acquisition, these look and sound amazing for the price!
  7. Apologies if this might have been asked before, but those of you who are familiar with Maruszczyk basses.... If I wanted to swap out the standard Maruszczyk 4 string bridge for a Gotoh or Fender bridge, would it leave unsightly holes visible? TIA
  8. I've never seen one of those before, must be super rare left handed!
  9. That was probably me 😂
  10. It's still up for sale, I thought you might have caved by now
  11. Aerodyne Jazz just popped up on EBay... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/394492070599?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=ozwQYxL1QXm&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=TI0zI_3vTdO&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  12. Asked Harley Benton about the possibility of a lefty run of the MV 4M (Mustang-a-like). The answer? No
  13. Believe it or not, that Squier is still for sale...
  14. I don't think they were!
  15. That is very optimistic, I saw one on EBay go for less than £100 not long back.
  16. The Bruce Thomas Profile bass - it seems to get a lot of love and he seems very pleased with how it turned out. He had an awful lot of input to the design, right down to mixing paint to get the right shade of "salmon pink".
  17. Bootleg Beatles are the best I've seen
  18. 2 hours ago, kevham said: Sorry John I don't know - it came with the bass. It's not the best fit though. I've previously had pickguards made using the original as a template by Jack's Instruments in Manchester. Did a really good job. Not sure if he still does it though. Yeah they are still going.
  19. You cannot beat the look of a black/black/maple P.
  20. Pity you can't roll off the treble - that's a deal breaker for me. The board does look a little anaemic, reminds me of the Laurel one on the CV P I used to have. It's a shame, as it looks great otherwise... Trying to look for reasons not to buy another P and struggling at the moment! 😄
  21. This is exactly why I keep away from the right handed sale section! Serious envy! What a beauty! GLWTS
  22. You might be better off moving it out of the left hand section into "general population"... We don't get much traffic round these parts 😉
  23. I would definitely pick one up!!
  24. I think visually it has the bound neck and colour-matched headstock common of the period. Not sure about pickup placement, fingerboard radius etc - but those are the things that standout. If I was being nitpicky I'd have liked a limited Vintera range offered in lefty configuration but we've got some cool options now compared to days gone by!
