  1. I saw that, YOB bass for me as well 😄 There was a guy who used to sell lefty Ricks, he had quite a few and some rare ones as well. I was nearly tempted by a Burgundyglo 4003 about 15 years back, but I plumped for a 4004L which I really liked but moved it on for a CIJ P a few years later.
  2. 😂 I feel like I could do with just one more, strung with La Bella flats. I could pick up a Player P and get a guard cut and it'd do me. Although I don't think I could get away with it.
  3. That P looks really nice! A bit out of my price range unfortunately. Normally not a huge fan of the gold guard but it works on that bass
  4. Custom shop stack-knob Jazz on the bay for £2700 😲
  5. ON HOLD pending payment
  6. Here is my Digitech Bass Synth Wah for sale. If you're looking at this, then you know what it is and what it can do. You'll also know these stopped being made some years ago. I bought this during lockdown as I'd heard lots of good things about it. It's in perfect working order and a super clean example with box and manuals etc. The price includes packaging and shipping, if you want to collect it from me I'll let it go for £80. Thanks for looking. SOLD
  7. That's strange, mine had an Agathis body and was probably one of the lightest basses I've owned!
  8. MMine was a Squier P Special. Should never have sold it. Loved that bass.
  9. I'm seriously tempted by that musicmaster. I'm certain my tech could repair it properly.
  10. Good luck shifting those left handers. Absolute idiots.
  11. Definitely a Squier P Bass Special - I had one, just not in that colourway. Really regret selling it.
  12. There's a lot of love for the Rumble series, and they're super light as well. If I ever went back to gigging I'd pick one up immediately.
  13. I've got a fretted 5 string version of the same bass, for the price I paid for it I can't fault it (not being a 5 string player - it's my first one!) Happy NBD - hopefully!
  14. The current CV range come with laurel boards, if I'm not mistaken. The one I had was very nice, regret selling it on now to be honest. It did everything a P should.
  15. Any lefties ? 🙄
  16. That PB70 is 🔥
  17. The block inlays look wrong too - the 1st fret one is too square, there's a legit Squier up and you can clearly see the inlays are more rectangular looking. It could be a coincidence but it also has Roswell pickups in it, which is very suggestive.
  18. Not sure about this. Looks like a HB to me. Whatever it is, it's defo not a Squier. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265626586720?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=GFT30HKXTIG&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=TI0zI_3vTdO&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  19. Congrats for future NBD! Looks absolutely fantastic!
  20. I've only ever seen pics of an Atelier Baby Z, but they look fantastic instruments. If I could justify the outlay, I'd definitely be interested. The Aerodynes have always interested me.. they just look so cool! I think Kev's non-export looks a lot better than the ones that were readily available, without the scratchplate and control plate.
  21. Whit woo!
  22. No issues with mine
  23. I got an ignition from ebay and after a little adjustment and stringing with pyramid flats, it sounds immense.
  24. There's definitely something in this, my first bass was a squier P/J and I thought it was great. A few years down the line I had a CIJ P shipped in by Guitar Emporium (remember them?) and when I plugged it in it just sounded "right". I can't explain it any better.
  25. Your P/J not doing it for you?
