1. Nice playing, nice basses, good comparison thread..."Compare the P Bass . com" How did you record the clips?
2. ....or have you seen something that requires your urgent attention?
3. New KB price from Status, £1799, their price, £2692.
4. Nah, I'll leave the keyboard parts to a keyboard player.
5. Am I missing something here, why is this nearly a grand more than the MRRP? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/STATUS-CUSTOM-KING-B...QQcategoryZ8748
6. Hi Steve, is there any news about the bass? BTW, I'd love the Mesa amp for the Stereo in the cellar but I've got nowt to sell to spring the cash. It would sound cool with my DB680, oh for Gods sake, take it off sale, it's doing my head in.
7. Hi Chris, sorry this didn't work out for you. Very, very cool of you to let this person loan your gear, I'm sure you'll sell it to somebody who understands its true value.
8.
......no...... hum...... *scratches chin some more......* Weird....
Hi Bobo, it does seem weird that when my wife was actively encouraging me to buy the bass, there and then, until you realise that it was a 4 string Stingray, black, rosewood board....for £1395!!!! I told her that I could pick up a really good condition used one for half that price. I think they are good basses but too dear when purchased from new. A forum meber mxm has a gorgeous 5 string fretless ray for sale for £750, I was really tempted but it's an unlined board and I thought that £750 is a lot to pay to dip my toe into the fretless world, I may have bought it if it had been lined though! As Josh has said, the Stingrays are very nice but so are the Sterlings, now I would be very interested in trying a Bongo, they look so good.
9.
I want.
.........a VB99.
10. I was never a SB fan but I thought they were great on Wossy. Kemps Wal sounded the nuts and for their age, they looked good. For an uncool 80's band, they were full of energy and played live better than some of the sh*te that has been on Wossy in the past.
11. I'm a lefty and I tried a Stingray in a music shop, while with the missus. She said that I should buy it there and then, she loved the sound. I resisted, how warped is that.
12. Agreed.
13. That was my dream rig back in 1985.
14. Definately a whiff of Mighty Hogweed going on there.
15. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6pgM-NVfWg...feature=related This well good. I totally agree about getting the hours/lessons when teaching. I find that most of my pupils are either under 18, or over 30. Mabye it's not cool to have lessons when you're 18-30.
16.
f***in lethal if Im driving then....
How many dates are you doing?
17. A total bass player, tone, notes, pocket, attitude, looks cool and smiles. My Girl is brilliant.

22. I am so glad I don't take acid these days, that is the most disturbing, Burroughsian, Lynchesque headstock, I've ever seen.
