Was posted from Japan & arrived fairly quickly. I'd replace the nut, add new strings & then set-up. If you've still got dead spots, maybe look at tweaking the truss-rod (if you think it needs it), adjust the bridge. If all else fails, get a quote for a luthier set-up. Good luck!

That is unbelievable! However, I reckon he got it the wrong way round: get paid for the gigs whilst sipping Martinis (other beverages are available) thousands of miles away! Cuts out all the hassle of buying gear, learning how to play, moving said gear (repeatedly), travelling in scuzzy vans, writing material, learning material, promoting material etc.

As wide as possible for me - although I think most of my straps are 2.5", which are perfectly comfortable. What designs are you looking at? Exciting!
