I'd buy the £79 Yamaha (providing it's not knackered). Plenty of time to get used to it & then decide if you want to get something a bit more expensive or particular. I've got a Yamaha & it's extremely well made and playable, so I can recommend. New Bass Day is exciting - don't forget to post pictures of whatever you decide on. Good luck!
