  1. Aah - that was before it ran off with the Space Cowboy!
  2. I'd buy the £79 Yamaha (providing it's not knackered). Plenty of time to get used to it & then decide if you want to get something a bit more expensive or particular. I've got a Yamaha & it's extremely well made and playable, so I can recommend. New Bass Day is exciting - don't forget to post pictures of whatever you decide on. Good luck!
  3. It was having an affair with Jamiroquai
  4. Nice one! Hope everything ends up okay

  10. ...and photos, or it didn't happen!
  11. Hence the forum name then, Bassassin?
  12. Hitting the famous 'brown note' by accident?
  13. I misunderstood this as Basschat getting into the counterfeit cash business! Could be a money-spinner! Ker-ching!
  14. In my experience, enthusiasm & progress with the bass comes in fits & starts: a period where everything comes together & feels good, followed by a period of frustration, and repeat. I think you'll be able to ride out this ennui, but as others have said, guitar lessons or something different might just make things more enjoyable. Good luck!
