  1. We believe you 😉😁
  2. I only use bass-lead-amp, I prefer the sound of my amps and basses, and there’s no need for any pedals playing reggae, I occasionally have a play around with my ampeg preamp but that’s just for fun
  3. Welcome Cici , I’ve been to Ashdown many times, lovely people
  4. Bonjour welcome toonet
  5. After all that great work you’ve put in to it I’d maybe just get someone to sort the neck and fret it for you if you don’t want to do it, I wouldn’t worry about the weight, nice work
  6. I think we’ve had this one but it’s definitely worth another listen and I’m liking this from Johnny Earl
  7. Yeah I saw that, very nice indeed
  8. I’ve been using mine a lot and its never failed yet, I’ve been using my Hohner B2A for playing on the sofa because it’s a bit smaller than the fenders ,and I got a short extension lead which works great because the jack is on the bottom of the body and it doesn’t get squashed , this also sounds great in active mode
  9. Really nice, congrats , I bought a hohner B2A to see if I like the body shape with the intention of buying one of those but I haven’t got around to getting one yet
  10. it looks great, I think you got yourself a good one there Rob, congrats, I hovered over will’s number a few times but I’m holding out for something else at the moment , nice one
  11. Yeah same for me, no problem really
  12. This is really nice, I’m surprised there’s not more interest
  13. Think mine had purple silk but maybe different gauges have different colours
  14. They aren’t TI’s , the silks are the same colour but yours look very smooth whereas TI’s are not
  15. I only use flats and I found the chromes quite high tension compared with the labella’s I normally play, also very bright sounding, good if your looking for that sound but they wasn’t for me
  16. Welcome William
  17. There’s some great tunes on them, good choice
  18. It would be a nice match, good luck rob
  19. Will has got a nice 73 jazz in at the moment, I’m holding out for a maple and black block one but it’s quite tempting , few dings in the neck though https://bassbros.co.uk/product/1973-fender-jazz-bass-4/
  20. He might subject you to lots of Jazz noodling videos if you did 😬😁
  21. He does sometimes 🙂
  22. I’d rather listen to Little Mix greatest hits than jazz noodling 😁
  23. It definitely works in some situations, I’ve been a joiner for 35 years and it’s used regularly in the joinery shop Not something I would do it would probably tear the neck pocket wood
  24. That’s a really good one to play , I used MarloweDK’s video when I was learning it , he breaks it down well
