  1. Looks great and I imagine it sounds good too , I might have a string tree in my workshop but I’m not there till Friday, you can have it if I have
  2. Nice job, I do like a worn P bass too, are they D'Addario Chromes on there
  3. Not sure who did this originally but nice bassy version by George Faith
  4. Strange , I’m not getting any videos, this comes up
  5. Don’t do FB but the pics look good
  6. I always think black or gold anodized goes well with candy apple red, I’ve got gold on my P bass special
  7. Like a few above I wear mine high, i practice sitting so when I play it’s the same height
  8. I know what you mean, I don’t like thick gauge strings, I’ve got 2 jazzes with d’addario tapes which are 50-105 , my normal strings are labella 43-104 and LTF’s on all my other basses , but the tapes don’t feel thick at all, especially when they are worn in , they become really smooth with a nice warm tone
  9. Cool picture BlueMoon 👍
  10. Possibly, I’d say it’s loud enough for pubs and reasonable sized halls but probably not for larger outdoor stages, I’ve never had mine fully up, really nice sound though, I’ve recently bought a PF50t and it has nothing on the V4
  11. Hi and welcome 👍, I’ve never heard of them but this one has a good vibe
  12. Nice setup ☝️, I used markbass amps and cabs for years and loved it, I also found Ashdown heads work well with MB cabs , my last markbass amp just stopped working so I switched to Ampeg ,and now use 71 precision Ampeg V4-B Big baby ll
  13. Wet lubricant can also soak into the wood and stain it, that’s why the harder ones are better
  14. It’s hard not to get a good tone from a precision, even with the tone rolled right off I still get note definition (on the fenders I’ve got) , what P is it and maybe it’s the strings
  15. Welcome Claudio 👍
  16. Which one?, I’ll guess Mel B
  17. They look great Ricky, love those ☝️, if you want some good headphones for reggae and not that expensive, the House of Marley XLBT ones have got a heavy bass sound
  18. I’m sure fender did a 70s precision with block inlays once
  19. Cruising through Chingford listening to some Gregory
  20. Could it have been Rihanna?
  21. Beautiful island, enjoy your holiday 👍
