    What about the Handbox WB100, I very nearly bought one a while back, it looks great ,the dimensions are WxHxD- 460x185x340(mm)

    They did a blonde finish on the 70s jazzes and it was special order, so I’m guessing the option was also available on the Precision

    It’s interesting to see what settings you use , and it depends on what I’m playing, I’ve been playing a lot of dub lately, this is the setting I’ve found hits the sweet spot, that’s with a us jazz with neck pickup on full and the bridge 75% and the tone off

    I fitted Tonerider pickups in one of my P’s last summer with a kiogon loom, I went with them because the reviews said they have more of a vintage sound and slightly more lows , and I would say it’s very true, I think it would pair well with TI flats, I’ve got LTF flats and it sounds great, you’re welcome to borrow my P if you want to try it Paul

    You take them off, I’ve never heard of leaving them on, as far as I know they are just there for identification, plus you need good contact with the bridge, great strings btw, most of my basses have them

    Have you thought about the markbass heads I’ve had quite a few and they are good, there’s a nice LM lll 500 in the for sale ads (nothing to do with me) 🙂

    I really like the attitudes, especially with the fat neck woofer, so I went and played one with the intention to buy it, and the profile of the neck really put me off, maybe it’s because I’m so used to my jazzes and I also have P basses but it just felt too chunky for me 🙂

    Sounds good, after it’s all stripped down, cleaned and working nice, it looks like it’ll be fun to play

    If you’re looking for a project I suppose €20 isn’t bad, it looks pretty corroded near the nut so I would make sure the truss rod works Sarakisof or you won’t be able to adjust it and you might have trouble getting another neck to fit if it doesn’t 🙂

    Something doesn’t sound right there , I’ve got D’addario half rounds on one of my jazzes, and they are considerably brighter than all my flats , even the fender flats , and they have been on for over 5 years , they could be a faulty set

    Yeah I think that’s it and Apple Music, I did hear they have finished a studio album and it’s meant to be released soon, I know @Frank Blank follows them, he might know something more 🙂

    I do like the Marlowe DK , but a 65 original jazz just does things to me 😁

    I’ve got new basses but I like the history and the mojo that surround vintage jazzes , and they don’t depreciate like new ones tend to 🙂
