Hope all turns out well , Just to keep your fretting hand exercised and for a different tone, have you tried playing with the thumb for a while, I quite like it myself 🙂 -

That little lever should move across and up to allow you to enter your new code ped , isn’t it moving , edit, I can see B is stopping it
