    Bill, out of interest is it ok to to use a iPod, which is the same as a phone I guess, if it’s going through a interface into your amp, but it’s not good if it’s going straight into the input socket. And are valve amps different 🙂

    Are they the same as a jazz bridge dude, if so I think I’ve got some at home, if they are you can have them 🙂

    I was quite obsessive about basses and gear until my fairly recent purchase of another US jazz and a RM500 , it seems to have eased things off as it’s pretty good sounding, it doesn’t stop me looking , but I’m a bit more selective now , a 60/70s jazz is still on the list though 🙂

    I occasionally dabble in a bit of funk, any suggestions on what settings to use on the RM , is it better with the shape in or out, I’ve been using my LB30 up till now but I want to start using the rm, cheers

    Some nice grooves on this one, not too difficult, and plenty of space to add your own thing if you want 🙂

    I’ve had a lot of ashdown heads and the RM really shapes up well, it’s my favourite at the moment

    I use the RM with 2x markbass 15s which gives a pretty deep warm sound , and I’ve also got an Ashdown 115 deep cab , which imo needs to be pushed a bit more to get the lows and it’s also a bit more midrange sounding 🙂

    No pickguard doesn’t look right to me , and I think the white Pearl looks great with the maple , so Pearl 👍

    My ones don’t , but an hour is quite a long time to have headphones on for without a break, especially if they are the over ear type 🙂
