  1. Congrats Lozz, it looks great and I think the relicing is very tasteful
  2. Don does a good comparison here with a few different basses
  3. Deep sadness, I met him once, one of the loveliest people ever RIP , one of my favourite songs
  4. I bought a US jazz off a guy in clacton on sea one Saturday about 7 years ago, and he gave me an old HH VS bassamp and an Ashdown 15 cab he no longer wanted, I think he was moving out of his flat, I’ve still got the amp, a few of the knob’s have a slight crackle but it’s still going and sounds quite good . a few years later an elderly gentleman came round to see my Ashdown mag amp I had advertised, he hadn’t played for years and wanted to get back into it, he bought the amp and I gave him the cab for free
  5. Yeah, I haven’t seen one that low, I don’t think it’ll be there long
  6. I’d say that’s a great deal myself, I’ve been tempted a few times to get one of those but I’ve got quite a few precisions, they look great, I think @wateroftyne had one
  7. Thanks very much for recommending this one, enjoyed giving it a go yesterday, it’s a great Bassline and I used my 71 P with foam under the bridge which sounded right , the intro took me a while and this video helped me with the changes , great cover
  8. I’d guess that too, it’s certainly not on my watchlist
  9. It just popped up on my eBay, it’s up to £510 😳
  10. For me it’s Babylon by Bus - Bob Marley, it’s a live album and Family man’s basslines are just superb, I don’t play it often but when I do it’s quite uplifting, it’s worth a listen if your not familiar with it imo
  11. Ive got so many flats in a box as that’s all I use, I’ve been using labella LTF’s for years, and recently got some labella Olinto, but I’d really like to try these Pino ones, how do they sound and feel
  12. Quite enjoyed watching this one, nice sound from the 2 65 P basses
  13. I did read somewhere a long time back that the colour came about after a mistake mixing, and they liked it , not sure how true it is
  14. Very nice Pow, look forward to hearing how it is
  15. Wow, did you find what was making the creaking noise
  16. I think it should have read, upgraded with an angle grinder antiquity" to describe horrendous false ageing 😁
  17. Two I’ve been working on lately which I really like the basslines to, Marcia one is by Lloyd Parks and Damien Marley, really like this one and a great one to play
  18. Great one, that’s one of my all time favourites
  19. I was just looking at that a few minutes ago, hope nobody gets fooled
  20. I wouldn’t say that in a reggae studio, you might not get out 😁
  21. I don’t even know who those 3 are 🤷‍♂️
  22. Playing some Duane Stephenson today , and I was looking up his backing band , Next Generation Family, who I think are really good, Sumalee Berlinger is the bass player
  23. Welcome Ryan
