    Great one, I can’t be sure but I think mr Boss man was one of the first tunes I heard by Linval Thompson, would have been around 1980 ish , probably on Rodigan or Tony Williams reggae show

    I don’t know much about the technical side of things but if the wires are still attached and it’s just the plate that’s come off wouldn’t the speaker still work?, I think in this situation I would just pay for return postage and sort it out my end

    Quite a chunky bridge that I don’t recognise and large pole pieces on the pickups, I’d be interested to know what it is too , is that 24 frets

    Hi ya frank, I’m not sure if Lindo do a slim body version, the slim one I looked at was the Washburn AB10 but for the amount I would probably use it it was a bit expensive

    I’d weigh up that altering the neck profile will devalue it, if you intend to keep it and have it just how you want it then it’s something to consider, my 71P has a very shallow neck, there’s not much difference with it and my jazzes except the nut is a few mm wider

    I quite like a few tracks by the Blossoms and Crowded house, don’t they used to be Split Enz, and I didn’t know human league were still around

    A couple of covers here I think are really good, first up is Bob Marley’s Roots and another by the Expanders of Babylon feel dis one, this has a good Bassline to play too
