  1. Perhaps somebody good enough might write out the 3 missing scores from listening to the mp3s one day? Isn't that a common exersize with music students? Who knows, when I reach lesson 28, even I might be able to do it! Or come back to it... (I imagine there's some kind of score writing software out there, like an Office Suite for music?)
  2. Who wouldn't have bought it for Β£25. ? Who might have talked the price down a bit ? NSFW:
  3. I'd say fake bullet holes? But nah - maybe somebody has tried to fit 6 tuners and a guitar bridge on there!?
  4. Wow, thanks @Rich and @stevie for reproducing a great resource! Hope I'm not being daft, but it looks like 28a 28b 28c score pdfs are missing from Stevie's post above...?
  5. I'm sure he'll be cool with you if he's looking in. Ayup Scott. πŸ‘
  6. He does need to wear the right hand gloves sometimes. πŸ‘ Anyway, being beastly about that is off-limits because he has focal dystonia, which is the type of thing that must be a bit terrifying for him (or any bass player). 😬
  7. I'm in a remote position, but I think Scott might be missing a trick by not considering applicants whom live in towns etc - but what do I know?
  8. Hrm, are you getting any indication that the one you're trying to upload is too big, or the wrong format or anything? If not, I dunno.
  9. Rock on, Tommy. πŸ‘
  10. Right you are. I probably also shouldn't have said barrel... Firing pin! 88mm Shell! Damn, I think I've got Ordnance Tourette Syndrome. Which is a real thing, that I probably need help for. 😬
  11. There's one odd fish in every barrel...
  12. Something happened on the road from the bootsale to Damascus? πŸ˜€

    Jazz

Thanks RB! πŸ˜ƒ It came about quite by accident... I was close to pulling the trigger on one of those Mex' Fender Classic 70s Jazz models (I think you have or at least had one of those? And I'm sure they're much nicer), however, I had cause to contact a local music shop on another matter, and they happened to have this 'Vintage' on the second-hand rack - in virtually unplayed condition (still had the wrappers on the PG & control plate) ... (except oddly, it had the Fender flats fitted by the previous owner) - and it was at a very low price. So me being a cheap b'stard - Home it came!

    Jazz

I bet Newton never saw that one coming... πŸ˜ƒ Here's my new (JHS "Vintage" Reissue), that I'm deliriously happy with! It has a bound neck, with abalone dot markers! And a greenish retro tint to the PG. I've never had a CAR guitar before. It may be really cool, or at least a good colour for reggae!?
  15. Interesting, I don't hear any treble in the bass on Rhythm Stick, but the bridge pup appears in time for this:
  16. Seems odd that. Apparently Jaco had to fashion his own fretless jazz with a pliers & some wood filler. Like a Jedi constructing his own lightsabre... ish.
  17. I was paraphrasing (is that the right word?), Derek Smalls: From here: http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/spinal-tap-bassist-derek-smalls-it-dont-get-old-video-released/ πŸ˜‚
  18. I might remove it. Don't want to run out of emotional outbursts.
  19. That was a pity laugh ^^^^^.
  20. Thank you folks, we are here all week. 😁
  21. In a similar vein, I was once in a band called Bread Poultice. Didn't get anywhere because we sucked. Ay thank you! πŸ˜ƒ
