On a different note, my popping finger is sore from learning to be Larry Graham! (but on a P bass, with flats!). 😬

Oh, well after I had that cracked neck delivered - I've been out in the garage trying to fix the old one... And now I've snapped the truss rod a tiny little bit. 😕

Hrm, I do have an interest in this, because at xmas, I bought a (left handed) Bass Collection 'Jive' (Jazz), for m'lado (lefty only available in old man 'burst with old man white scratchplate). So I was thinking - solid black or BWB might modernise the thing, a bit... plus a paintjob would be better... Anyhoo, it's nice to hear from somebody who's right! That's fine, you old fool - except you're in the 1890s, and the Jazz wasn't invented 'til 1960. 😃

I once had a mouse living in a 2x15 Fender (135) Bassman cab'. He used to come to gigs and rehearsals with me. I suppose he was probably deaf. Hope that helps. 👍

Arrived today! Colour and dimensions look OK compared to my "Vintage Brand" J neck... Unfortunately, there's a crack through the fretboard (of the new neck, not the old one)... 😕
