  1. Most of the coolest rap tunes use recycled funk grooves. This one is unusual for not doing that!
  2. Lovely
  3. Interesting - my comp of choice is a Darkglass Super Symmetry for exactly the reason you like the LMB-3. I got mine really cheap because the switch is a bit iffy and takes 2-3 goes to switch on.
  4. Devin Townsend in Bristol tonight 🙂
  5. Looks like JohnR already has this? I'm interested if not.
  6. I purchased a tuner from Pete. A flawless transaction, many thanks!
  7. I purchased an OC-2 from Steve. It arrived super fast and well packaged. Buy with confidence 👍
  8. 99% sure I want these, need to check the measurements on my bass when I get home 👍
  9. I just received a pedal from Chris. Paid Friday, received Monday you can't get better than that! Thanks Chris 👍
  10. This has 2 bass lines. Both simple I'll grant you.
  11. Have they been using "These go to twelve" knobs for very long? Or is this another case of U2 being a real life Spinal Tap?
  12. Use nickel wound strings and then the strings wear before the frets
  13. There's quite a few - the MM SUB that @ikay has now is a particular standout. Edit - in fact I'm fairly sure it's his avatar. That says it all really!
  14. I want one of these, wrong time of the month though.
  15. Dammit! I want this but no funds until the 24th. Typical!
  16. The Two Notes Le Bass will work for this, and has three different switchable modes (4 if you count off!)
  17. We are called Aimless Arrows, a play on the Hawaiian proverb.
  18. Certainly looks like it - you can see an imprint in the finish.
  19. I'll be there 👍
  20. Quite, that video made my brain itch
  21. I play in the classical position, always have. I never really thought about it until fairly recently. I do have long arms though so have no problem with reach.
  22. I'm interested to know more - is it a valve head?
  23. Funnily enough I had a similar experience after reading this thread. I particularly enjoy giving it a fat fuzz from my Wooly Mammoth clone, mono mode, both octaves up and a bit of modulation makes for some incredibly juicy tones
