My really nice Tanglewood Roadster Travel TWR BE Electro Acoustic Lined Fretless Bass in really good used condition.. Having owned a few Kala U Basses and even a Goldtone Micro Bass, in my humble opinion this is a far superior Travel Bass. The action on this is far lower than any other Travel, Micro or U Bass I have owned, or played which I always found to be to high. i know it's a personal thing, but I also couldn't get used to the rubbery type strings, where as the Black Nylon flat wound fitted to this are a joy to play, plus they seem to hold their tuning a lot better and the intonation seems better - at least to my old cloth ears. The lined fretboard also assists intonation and the Bass is loud enough to hear in a small room, so ideal to pick up and have a 'noodle' without having to connect to an amp - when you do play it through an amp the sound is rich, deep and produces that lovely 'woody' dry sound. The built in preamp is a doddle to use, the tuner is really good and can be used acoustically again without having to connect to an amp. MarkBass - original Made In Italy Minimark 602 Bass Combo - 150w via the internal speakers, or 250w if connected to an 8ohm extension cab. Auxiliary input for phone /iPad / MP3 / CD player etc to play along to. Headphone output and Speaker off switch for silent practise / tuning. Line output for connection to a mixer, power amp, or as in my case - connecting to my other 602. Small, will fit into virtually any car boot - very light and surprisingly loud even on it's own and even louder connected to an 8ohm extension cab. Complete with dedicated Roqsolid, heavy duty cover. These really are great combos, that produce all those lovely deep rich bass tones & the only reason I am letting it go is that I am lucky enough to own two of them and one is plenty loud enough for my needs - especially when connected to my Barefaced One 10. These really are cracking Basses, the build quality on mine is exceptional plus the scale length makes them sooooooooo easy to play. They also seem to be quite far and few between these days, as it took me a couple years to find mine. I think I saw a red one very recently on eBay & they were asking around £750. ps - Santa is bringing me some Black Nylon La Bella Flats for Xmas - can't wait 🎅🏻😃👍👍
