  1. Rocket to the Moon - Runrig
  2. Sleeping Satellite - Tamsin Archer
  3. Get yourself a preamp pedal, instant active for any number of passive basses. I have a Sadowsky SBP2.
  4. Crazy Train - Ozzy
  5. Be A Dentist - Steve Martin (Little Shop of Horrors)
  6. Yep, glued in cocktail sticks for the win.
  7. Breakfast in America - Supertramp
  8. I exaggerate a bit, I do plenty of mods. However, I’m not in the same league as the more talented builders on BC (league? Not even the same game, TBH) and I’d not be satisfied with any efforts I might make. I’d like to have the right tools, inc drill presses, routers, etc and the room to store them though.
  9. You have clearly not seen me work with wood 🤕🩸🪵🪓
  10. Crying To The Sky - BeBop Deluxe
  11. I'd take the tuner off and warm it up before trying to straighten it, pop it in a plastic bag and put in a cup of boiling water for a few mins should be enough. Then gently ease it back as straight as you can get it. As has been said, loosen the thumbscrews either side of the foam and that'll drop it down. Truss rods (there will will be two if it's like my old 4003s). Opinions differ on how long to wait, but I'd give it half an hour and see if any difference has been made. However, expect to have to make another adjustment the next day, one way or the other. Finally, that's a tasty looking bass!
  12. Oh well, back to looking at Performer Mustangs for me then.
  13. Well, that's taken the shine off of my GAS for sure.
  14. And just like magic… Just need to watch it myself now.
  15. Gah! Now I really want one! That neck pickup with the tone rolled off is super gnarly.
  16. Back in Time - Huey Lewis and the News
  17. Alice's Restaurant Massacre - Arlo Guthrie
  18. That's What Friends Are For (The Vulture Song) - The Jungle Book soundtrack
  19. Can't say that it's a particularly big issue for me. I have a 33", a 35" and my 42" EUB. My muscle memory seems to be connected to which bass I'm playing rather than the actual scale. Weird for sure, but that seems to be the end product.
  20. Stop it! Stop it right now! 😍
  21. Indeed, he is quite the craftsman.
  22. Next month might see me slip off the wagon. I’m going on a trip and taking a bass with me as a potential trade in for something I have my eye on.
  23. The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill - The Beatles
