Absolutely love it! although it was made in Mexico, it beats my old MIA hands down! link: http://www.fender.com/products//search.php?partno=0131702306 I changed the pickgausd for a black one and fitted a high mass bridge - luscious!! the neck on this is singly the best pbass neck I have ever played! the pics dont do it justice!! andy

8. Fantastic! ta much the thumpers sound tremendous, as does WoT's technique! at work and have the luxury of listening in the studio through the dedicated monitors - wot a sound! looks like I know where I'm going! andy
9. Thinking of changing the pups in my new fender 50's classic pbass. Trawling through some of the manufacturers websites with nothing jumping out at me, I came across wizard pups for pbass: traditional, thumper and stealth. Has anyone got experience of these pups and would like to share or should I just fit fender vintage pups in my pbass? andy
10. Dirnt or Hoppus? definitely check the Schecter model-t: http://www.schecterguitars.com/?gclid=CPSt...CFRpN5Qod33gVBg superb instruments beautifully crafted! andy

12. ah well! women and children first! seems like they are dancin with the devil and goin crazy from the heat. I'll bet they have to Jump to get to the next level and maybe your just a little bit of a shy boy onstage which may not make a ladies night in buffalo but hey there's always a hot dog and a shake! I would just take out my Elephant Gun and give them Big Trouble... you could also get on some Sensible shoes and walk right onto Easy Street where those California girls are waiting for the Ice cream man to deliver some Perfect Timing! And at the end of it you need to just Stand Up and hope for some Lady Luck cause you know A little aint enough and when it all goes Damn Good you know Thats Life! take it easy mate definitely not the end of the world just a little one trick pony cover band!! andy

17.
Hi Andy, do you want to sell the gold anodised pickguard?
hiya mate, I tend to keep all the original stuff from fenders just in case I sell at some point. 20 year old 50s RI, I'm sooo envious!! love the mirror plate!! but defo black-white-black pickguard! But, because of your picture...I will have to redo my avatar by getting a photo of the pbass up against my rig and a real pic of me! Can anyone shed light on this? Been checking the Fender website and it would appear that the new road worn series are made/assembled in Mexico. I checked one out just before buying the 50s classic and I couldn't see much of a difference if any? The spec is almost identical to the 50s classic series!? are they the same? what are they? andy
18. will check it out cheers. funnily enough, I have had a badass and didn't like it, much preferred the fender bridge. don't know what it was with the badass II it just didn't feel right. andy
19. Well I've done it, correction me mothers done it! She signed the 12 month interest free option at Guitar Guitar allowing me to own a Fender 50s classic precision bass! Have to say, I'm well pleased with it, looks great, superb tone and the neck...the neck...high gloss chunky fabulous piece of maple! well chuffed I am! Downer: its made in Mexico but after a couple f hours with it, I'm not too fussed compares well with my old American pbass! Will change the anodised gold pickguard to a 3 ply black one and will definitely change the bridge to a fender deluxe/high mass deluxe. andy link: http://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/bass_guitars...=08103114345638
