Hard to tell with such a tiny pic, but the bridge looks like a Babicz, which would mean it can't be that old, unless it's been modded. Unless of course it's just a similar looking bridge...

Great sound, though I'd like to have heard the eq messed with to see how versatile it is. The wattage wouldn't bother me, but for a micro amp it looks huge, though by spec it's only 3" wider than my Streamliner, and pretty close in height and depth.

I got a Traben bass in a jackson guitar box once, heh, I panicked when I saw the box that's for sure.

That cab sounds amazing.

This is both great news, and dreadful news. The dreadful part being the severe amount of GAS I'll be going through, especially knowing how helpful and easy to deal with Mark is....

I always thought that MEC was owned by Warwick, or that they were in house electronics, planned on picking up a pair of MM pickups and a pre, to make a Cort of mine into a pseudo $$, until I saw the price. Some of the pots they make are really rare though, stacked push/pulls, push/pull blends, stacked volume/blends with push/pulls, stuff I've never seen anyplace else. IIRC, my Glockenklang preamp has some MEC parts, too. Which would explain why Glock pre's and Warwick control knobs are supposedly(hopefully as I'm waiting for some in the post) a perfect match. This is why I'm glad I live out of the way enough that couriers need to ring me before making a delivery, for directions. If I'm not available, I can arrange things, so it's always left with someone I'm comfortable with, actually happened me a few weeks ago. Hopefully this is just a miscommunication, and you get your Squier soon!

I remember it being expensive, but not as much as a Badass II was at the time, around the 95 - 100 euros mark. I know it changes depending on weather you want a brass one or aluminum, and I picked brass.
