3.
Ha, good point. I tend to lurk around in the close vicinity of my amp irrespective of the size of stage, so I would imagine this colours my perception somewhat. Jennifer
I'm just a big show-off.....
4. I think it's a case of how big the stages are you play on..... most pub bands struggle to hear what they play as they are virtually standing on top of their amp. I play a lot of high end weddings and fortunately am normally around 10-15 ft in front of my 2 x 12 stack so hear pretty well what I'm playing.
5. I agree.... especially on Rhodes or Nord sounds.... Stereo emphasis makes a big difference.
6. Look here - Palmer Audio Tools
7. To be honest I think you've gone overkill on the drum mics..... in reallity for that size of PA you'd be looking at Kick, Snare and mayby an overhead.... that would free up some channels
8.
Fender guitars are about £900 now, but I saw one that looked pretty much the same in Toys R Us for £90. Now that is good value.
Probably played just as well too....
9. Rod, Jane and Freddy! Imagine that on the What's On board )
10. Have had one to play with for the last few months... really like it actually.... definitely different to the MB500.... Just gone back to GK so am now using the MB500 again.... can't really say which I prefer....
11. I find this helps -
12. Many years ago I used to be in a very similar outfit that went out as 'The Herrington Jazz Trio'...... Bilbo would have loved it ;o)
13. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM Noemie Lenoir I know she's not in this advert..... but worth mentioning.....
14.
For me, that's the 90s. Dire, awful, horrid decade. Almost totally uninspiring musically. Just MHO, of course.
+1000
15.
i particularly like the cream 4-string. mainly because it seems to have 5.
You get 25% more with that one....
16. Unless your talking about Peter Hook then thats fine with me......
17.
Negative, i'm afraid The Haz one is the reissue whereas the Musitronics is the original. Best of luck with the sale, have a bump.
Indeed.... and for that reason.... I'm out!
18.
As per your other posts - Mods, please delete Sorry Neil, but this guy sums up to me all that is bad about overblown blues/rock - he even makes Gary Moore sound subtle!!
Thats a bit offensive to me to be honest...... I have been speaking with Joe recently as he uses some product that I'm responsible for here in the UK and he's a real decent guy. If you don't like his style then thats fine but you shouldn't really knock someone thats making some headlines in the field that he is in.....
19. If it was between the two.... GK for me. Have a look at Purple-Chili cabs...... I'm really impressed with them so far. bit out of the £300 budget though
