1. It's fairly straight forward with MIDI. You just need to assign a dedicated MIDI channel to the patch you want within each device.
2. Bump...... open to trades and offers
3.
Y'know, I'm really not sure that improves the situation. Getting back OT (sorry) I still don't understand who it was who criticised the OP for daring to use old strings on his P-bass. Old Git picked up on this too. Who on earth (apart from another bass player) is ever going to notice whether your strings are old/new? The guys in my band (all experienced musicians aged +/- 50-ish) don't even comment when I swop between a 5-string P-bass strung with flats and a 4-string Wal strung with rounds!
Its not about other people noticing, it's about yourself noticing.
4. I put monthly but normally change every Monday after a weekend of gigging (3-4 gigs) as I love the Zing!
5. Interested in any of these in trade? Jay's Pedal Thread
6. 'Down by the River' type bump!
7. Back from Eden Sessions seeing Doves type bump!
8. The only trade I would consider would be another Status Kingbass..... They're the perfect bass for me.....
9. Bigger pic here
10. You 'd be better off with something like this - Studiomaster VMS
11. Small venue = 12 bar club
12. There's a lot of threads here about going pro/wedding bands/function bands etc..... Get yourself a good accountant, make sure you claim for everything, Never undersell yourself and get your website sorted out.... the links on the left hand side don't work for me
13.
Nice to see so many Status players coming out of the [s]woodwork[/s] Graphitework, as it were
Edited
14. Hi Simeon Would you like to PM me more details. I have 20 years experience selling/managing into the UK MI and Pro-Audio sub-distribution network so am sure I could help you finding the correct information. Jay
15. Kool.... played there a few times myself..... what did you think of the reverberation ?
16. Kingbass for me..... I have a Graphite Artiste 5 string and a Black Beauty (see the for sale section). The Black Beauty is probably the best bass I have owned and I'd dearly love a 5 string version.... The 5 String Graphite is exceptional to play. The sound is spot on for my needs and the thing that attracts me to this one is the actual size of the instrument. So natural to play.
17. I fear you may be correct MB1
18. Depending which version of the pre-amp is installed you will find that there is a little rotary screwdriver slot that will let you attenuate the output to your taste
19. Muse rock.... End of. But as usual it's another pc or mac/king or flea/jeff Berlin or someone with dress sense thread!
20.
Bring on the Muse ensemble tonight....
Chris will be using his new Status apparently..... wonder what it's going to be?
21. It was an Epiphone....
22. Many thanks Rich.... If anyone knows a good Statii when they see one it's you! I'm a bit gutted to be selling her but she rarely gets played these days and she's far too pretty to be stuck in a case in the studio. If only she had an extra string I'd never need another bass..... Ever!
