4.
Hahahaa, so what happens when you have a digital device with an analogue interface? This has a bunch of analogue knobs on for you to play with, as well as presets to set up far more complex parameters than could realistically fit on a pedal.... Or what about an analogue device with digital control and an analogue interface to that control (FMR RNC springs to mind)? Whats wrong with perfect recall anyway?
nothing wrong with it , was actually a pretty good film in its day

can i chime in here and proclaim my love for the fat analog sound of the OC-2 without causing another backlash like i unwittingly did in the envelope filter thread ???
  6.
when all the argument presented is this... there's no more argument I can't care less about what technology is being used. If a pedal is made of potatoes and it sounds good... then it sounds good. Even if they're digital potatoes.
its not an argument , just my opinion.. give me knobs to tweak instead of sh*tty presets to trawl through any day of the week..
  7. J brought my discumbobulator & small stone from me.. great lad to deal with! ultra fast payment no bullshit cheers m8!
  8.
+1 This, together with the "it must have true bypass" idea, really winds me up. As far as I see it, as long as it sounds good, then why should it matter whether it is analog or not? Surely it just makes the job of finding the right sounding pedal that much harder.
not for me it hasnt... but each to their own.. im with you on the "it must have true bypass" being b******s though!!

  10.
I dont understand, you want versatility, well this has more versatility built in than any other envelope filter I've ever seen, since it effectively models different takes on the envelope filter circuitry. Watch some more of the videos explaining it on youtube, there are over 20 different takes on the concept (IIRC) which change over 20 different parameters in the model (that you cant access from the knobs), you then get a bunch of front panel controls over each one. Now unless the Enigma actually has over 25 different controls it cant be more versatile than this can it? Maybe I'm missing what you are getting at, but every envelope filter/bass/fx setup I've tried has an inherent character, this seems to provide a bunch of inherent characters. Plus if the $120 translates as it usually does (to £120) its a remarkably cheap device for the amount of sounds available IMO.
but its digital!

  13.
No points for guessing what pedal I'm gonna suggest. There's many good pedals out there, depends on how much you wanna spend.
+1 MF 101
