  2. I used D'Addario half wounds for probably 20 years they are very sticky when new I don't use them anymore - flats only for me - Halfs are probably an individual feel thing they were good for calming down very bright basses

IME some pedals aren't sympathetic to other pedals in the chain 2 examples of pedals which are truly fantastic on their own but either overpowered or underperformed with others would be the Sadowsky Pre and the old Diamond BCP-1 ( SGFX /Diamond seem to have fixed the problem with the relaunched Comp/EQ) A pedal I think goes great with other units is the Crowther Audio "Prunes and Custard" it seems to do all sorts of goodness with OD , Filter, Chorus. Not the easiest pedal to find but certainly worth a bo peep What pedals do you guys like for their interaction styles ?

  17. I've been using the LaBella double ball end flats on the L2 smooth as, IMO great tone

  21. Very quiet purchasing year Warwick Fortress Flashback 5 string ( which I'm still working on getting used to playing) is a very well made instrument that looks very flash ... maybe to flash for me.
