    I very much like the old ABM cabinets. Still going strong. The ABM 1510HX is my favorite. Once again they are not for everyone and certainly couldn’t be described as “Hi-Fi” but for me they work good. I had a ABM115 blue speaker (Italy?) as well that was a bit “brighter”

    I have had no issue with Ashdown gear aside from wear and tear / basic maintenance. Obviously will get a Tubes bill at some point for the CTM-300 When I have contacted them they always reply promptly when given my location they could choose to ignore me😂😂

    The CTM EQ is somewhat quirky but has become my favorite. Magnificent with Passive Bass /Flatwound strings I don’t think the CTM is for everyone but for me it’s the bees knees I still use my 98 ABM Klystrom as well.

    GHS Precision Flats are IMO closer to LaBella. ( than Rotosound and Daddario Chromes) I use the 105 E set GHS on a Fretless Jazz and a Tobias. Very smooth strings and great balance across the range.

    L2 Steinberger fretted no dead spots. Entire range is balanced

    Yep C# on the G string Fretless Fender Jazz Fretless MusicMan Stingray is pretty good just need to be mindful of string to string balance EQ

    L2 Steinberger- LaBella double ball are very nice. Really should have done this years back. Very smooth I have ordered another style of LaBella Flats for my old Jazz

    Yep that’s sort of my experience too. I haven’t required “repairs” more “maintenance” for my Ashdown gear and always excellent communication and advice Given I bought my Klystrom ABM in 1998 and it’s still used 3-4 times a week that’s pretty good I reckon
