  1. Sorry. I’m sure you have a great sense of humour!!
  2. Luke ive taken a punt on the Free The Tone pedals we talked about the other week
  3. It’s only January 14th and I’ve already purchased 2 pedals Low impulse control maybe
  4. The OC-2 switch’s on automatic however the BF-2B and PEQ-3B do not
  5. Flanger - the old brown Boss BF-2B chorus - Tech 21 Bass Boost compressor - Diamond filter - probably 3Leaf Audio Proton Octave - Boss OC-2
  6. Yeah the SGFX Beta V is excellent. well voiced EQ section, a non abrasive drive. it’s very useful
  7. Put the Boss Tuner in place of the Korg Tuner added the Crowther Prunes and Custard…quite an interesting pedal. Not entirely sure on it yet. The Diamond SGFX Comp/EQ is a very good pedal for limiting or tone enhancement. It’s enough of an upgrade to push the old BCP-1 off my board ( still can’t bring myself to sell it though)
  8. I’ve swapped a Korg Pitchblack for a Boss TU-3 also picked up a Crowther Prunes and Custard … now that’s an idiosyncratic pedal
  9. I’ve put the new SGFX Diamond BCP/EQ on the board and put the old BCP1 away for now. I nearly bought a Seymour Duncan compressor today.
  10. Diamond SGFX Bass/EQ Free The Tone Bass Blaster OD
  11. Tech21 Bass Boost Chorus is good
  12. This is me with 2 Band Fretless Stingray - Diamond BCP/EQ - Ashdown Klystrom
  13. Where you able to figure out what year it was made?
  14. Here’s a setting I liked with the Precision w/ Chromes Finger style
  15. Rained off work so got plenty of time on the BCP/EQ No head room issue at 9v yet The 500hz mid addition is good The output volume is lower than the old BCP-1 i had to crank the Compressor knob to provoke a response out of my 70’s Precision, less required for MTD and Stingray Chorus Pedal used after this sounded amazing “Warming” up the Diamond with an overdrive before also engaged the compressor earlier I definitely need to give this a going over at 18v and through a big valve amp
  16. When I had Boss Limiters I put them at the end of the chain as well
  17. Thanks for answering that Luke. It’s been a question on both NZ guitars and TB appreciate it
  18. Yes previously I had a Wounded Paw Attack Goat which is a fuzz that is best with an envelope filter. I use the Battering Ram as a low OD mainly but it certainly can get very growls if required
  19. I think the Tech21 is the best chorus I have tried. It’s got a lot of different options as well. I don’t think they are made anymore. There’s also a Blue version but I don’t know if it’s the same tones
  20. This isn’t quite correct or settled but getting there. I do need to fit a Sadowsky Pre/DI on the end as well not sure if I like the new Diamond more than the old one
  21. The VCA compressor part is excellent. Drive is too fizzy/fuzzy for me Envelope Filter has a couple of majestic settings just takes a while to dial in and is fussy regarding different basses. Still a very good purchase
